That is true the song choice is quite familiar and even I thought so when the song started but they didn't play the song, but rather the solo intro lyrics which really suited M. So I think in that sense it was unconventional, because you see other shows use other sad songs quite frequently, I think this is the first time I have seen someone just use that intro to the song only. They didn't actually play the chorus of tujhe yaad na meri aaye or the rest of the song with Alka singing.
Yea, but they have to move the story in a natural progression they can't really go ManVeer centric without the conflicts happening that needed to happen, like Uday HAD to be betrayed by M, I mean that's when M would "lose" Uday in that sense and also REALLY realize her actions have consequences and that she can't think without acting every single time she get's emotionally distressed. So I think the story progressed naturally as possible which is why even though the end may seem rushed it will still be true to their love story.

I can wait for ManVeer for another more year or so, but the typical viewers are not so patient,ppl waited for ManVeer story for a few months and moved on when they didn't see it happening, subtle hints can't be picked by everyone
I wish CVs had taken the cliched path for a few weeks but SA didn't want to compromise even one bit, am both glad and sad about it, maybe more sad coz...you know na😭
DEK is not a show which everone can understand, btw these are SA's comments on her other show Remix when it was axed abruptly, I think it suits DEK too
