hey guys i am new and a silent reader but i just could not stop my self from writting :yes Ashish Kapoor is dashing so as Uday veer & he is Handsome too.
But dont u think that from day 1 to till now he is a dishonest , ruthless , crooked & demon. UV always play games.
If he want to save Devgarh palace with all good intention then he should hand over all d official papers of palace to mannata.
Is it love, where to insult Mannata & her family Uday With his Sis came to live in Devgarh Palace😡. Can u think how humiliating it is?
Love is not such cheap thing where 1 can do any thing to get his love. Such love is not love its LUST😉.
TO All The Female Member of the forum, I is like ask u, could u marry a dashing guy like UV who is nothing but a dishonest from his heart.

Yes he is dishonest, ruthless, selfish and maybe eveything bad, but atleast he never hides it. He never acts. He is what he is. Love him or hate him. No lies or no games there. Every character in DEK is like that but Uday is not afraid to show who he really is. And that is why his character is loved by all.
He never insulted her family. Yes, he bought the Devgarh Palace and is living in it. Why wouldn't he? He owns it. And if he would've given it back to her just like that, Manyata would never have realised the weight of her foolish act. She needs to be taught her lesson and only Uday can do that. Otherwise she would never appreciate the good things in her life. She needs to learn the importance of things in life. Uday's intentions were never cheap. If it was all about lust, he could've easily done anything with her in that jungle when they were alone for 24 hours. But he didn't Because he truly loves her. His love is not weak. He will make sure he gets what he wants. He's a Royal afterall and was brought up this way. And remember, he has grey shades. Everyone does, but that doesn't make him evil.
About your last line I would just say that please don't compare this with real life. It's a TV show and is a fiction. We watch it for pure entertainment. You should too. If we start comparing serials with real life, everybody will end up fighting. This is entertainment and people would obviously watch something that seems interesting. And for me, ManVeer's love story in interesting as they give a whole new meaning to love altogether. So just sit back, relax and enjoy instead of going into the depths of it as that really shouldn't be our concern 😊

I have to agree with Fia on this, Uday has grey shades but he has never hidden it.

He was brought up as a royal which means politics, backstabbing, and being ruthless to get what you want and what you need. I actually think Uday has been incredibly lenient on M this whole time, if he was really ruthless he would have kicked all of them out of the Mahal as he owns that house and he can do what he wants with it.

Ultimately UV is a flawed human just like everyone else on the show, if he had given the house back to M as a token of his love or whatever all that would have proven was that M can make truly foolish decisions and mistakes and that there are no consequences to her actions.

Yes Ashish is incredibly handsome and Uday is incredibly dashing, but that is not why I like the character, I like Uday's character because from the beginning there have been layers and depth and the way they have written him you cannot help but be intrigued by him, to me that makes Uday compelling.

if you want to understand uday,u have to have a clear mind.
u need to think it over,what he did,why did he do that?

i know that hes got grey shade,but no character of dek is dud ka dhula. no one,except perhaps komal and unnati are white.

laghta hai tum ne pura serial nai dekha tume sirf uv ki fault nazar ati hai huhhh plzzz manyta ko tu dekho phele kitni batmeez hai kase rude words use karti hai uday ke liye iss ke pyar ka mazak banati hai har waqt and j and brij ohh my god puri devgharh family hi sarhi hui hai or tume uday ki galtiyaa nazar ahhh rhi hai jaooo phele une bhi dekh ke ayoo phir baat karna uday ke bare mein huhh😡

This fact UV hid from Manyata when she was desperately searching for Akash and pretended to be her friend and would help her to become a Yuvrani knowing full well the only reason she wanted to become Yuvrani was to find Akash.

If UV truly loved Manyata he would have told her the truth that he was responsible for Akash's disappearance and let the cards fall where ever they may. if u hv noticed it was manyata hu started al dis...from d starting uv has always been on her side...n if she has forgotten it is only n only coz of uv she becam a yuvraani,she got her family's love...n uday loved her...what she did to him she threw him in prison n d most bugging part she believed a person hu tried killing her but not d person hu saved her life...infact in d jungle uv hurt himself to save her...n what does she do insult his love...hence uday opted d hard way...they say no ki agar ghee seedhe ungli se nahin nikle toh ungli tedi karke nikalnee padti hain...im sry but i feel dat uv is ryt in his position n her highness doesnt deserve him...

Ok so if you are going to say that UV should have confessed that he was responsible for Akash's disappearance then the argument should also be presented that DS knew about the situation and did nothing and JN witnessed it and used it to her advantage. No one on this show is pure as snow

M isn't too good for UV- she has been using UV from the get go, UV said it best when he took her back to her chawl, she didn't like being around him but she certainly didn't mind using his laptop, using his car or using him to try to locate Akash.

and manyata is not selfish...im extremely sry 2 say but compared 2 oder characters uday is d perfect..keep aside his good looks...inevery way uv is d perfect character...n had he not hidden aakash's truth den manyata vldnt hv developed v vld still hv moniya fighting against her family...something she has earned phd in...if she eva bcame yuvraan was to find aakash but eventually she forgot about him until jeh told her...so m extremely sry 2 say but first analyse evry1z character den point 2 uday...n bout manya being too gud for him...u noe wat ithink it is her hu doesnt desrve him...😡

Were not talking about the plans that he and DS plays but we are talking about his CHARACTER. When he is rude, he is rude. When he is being nice, he is nice. He doesn't ACT like Manyata, where she goes and uses UV for her advantage...thats not even questionable seeing the amount of times she has done that.
That was a game plan, he didn't tell her about Akash because he fully knew that she would never become a Yuvrani...the whole point of the show IS about the YUVRANI! How do possibly think the story would have moved?
And did you honestly think that the stubborn pig-headed girl would have listened to him when he tells her that Akash fell of the cliff?
To understand UV, you need to understand Manyata. You can't expect him to not react while she runs around like a jungli billi going overboard with her emotions.
And "Manyata is just too good for him" darling, Manyata is just LUCKY that she even has Uday or Akash. The two don't deserve her, they deserve MUCH better, yes, I feel Akash did as well. He would've had an amazing life if it was not for her. Also, her emotions change per minute, I feel bad for both at times, don't even know why they fight for her😕
