I am liking the new friendly equation between the sisters, J and M. Because yesterday's episode had those little moments which not only seemed sweet but it was something which was realistic between an elder and younger sister. By realistic I mean it wasn't the mahaan kind of love between them but it was the way they both reacted to the situations.
First, when Menaka was storming at Manyata for her behavior and J came to defend her. J, being younger and carefree, targeted Menaka with her words and gave her the reality check of the situation. When Menaka walked away, Manyata being older and responsible, told off J for talking to Menaka like that in a very minor scolding kind of a way. But it was more of a way in which an elder, mostly a sibling, rebukes the younger when they are not necessarily wrong but it's just not the way things go. And J's reaction to it was so casual. So casually she joked while rolling her eyes and spread a smile on M's face. Now, the situation wasn't that light that a laughter was a must but it was the way J joked. Lightly, casually and friendlily. M's smile wasn't a purely joyful one, it was the kind when the smile just spreads without any control over it. Like it's not right to smile but can't help it.
Second, when Jagat invited M and J for the auction. J became so excited and forgot all about her puzzlement of seeing Jagat there with his newly found cool attitude. The shine in her eyes was of a child hoping to get his favorite toy. Her excitement couldn't be handled. M's reaction was of course of a more responsible adult. She was worried about her DS and worried that her worry might create problems in Jagat's noble cause. It's natural. And that look on M's face when Jagat kissed J's hand like something is going on, something is fishy between this man and my sister, was so sweet! But the best part was when Jagat took his leave and J, smiling like an excited child, walked towards M and said, "Hum chal rahe hain na?" I swear! Maybe it was the way she said it, maybe it was the smile on her face, maybe it was the choice of words, but my heart melted at that spot! Her little request with an excited smile, the little plea in her eyes; for a moment I forgot that it could all be a game, a scheme like it always is. And Manyata's nod after that, I think it was more due to J's request than Jagat's request. Really a sweet scene!
In short, I think this new found equation between J and M is really sweet and pleasant to watch. Yeah, I am sure that next week it would all come crashing down because J doesn't even breathe without scheming first but till then, I am enjoying it. These smooth and friendly interactions are so much better to watch than the loud wild cat fights. J and M was the only thing I liked after Jagat's full on dhinchak re-entry. I think I'll join the Jagat camp 😛 Jagat Singh Rathod, FTW! 😉 This man really has the potential to being a good man for J because the chemistry is just right also to be a parallel lead because he has the right charm and attitude to carry himself when you have a person like UV as a lead for the show 😃
