Hey everyone!! Well I'm back with an update for all of you lovely sweet people! 😃
Before you read it though just want to mention a little note on Ranvijay. (Yes, he's back!) I don't know how many of you used to watch Miley Jab Hum Tum, well I loved that show and it was definitely one of my favourites. Well, this Ranvijay character is directly taken from there LOL ..I felt like there was much more potential for his character then just a 2 month villain role 😉 so I added him in this SS as you guys have read about him in the 4th chapter 😊 For those of you who have no idea who I am talking about, here's a picture of him from the show:
Like? No like? Okay if no like than ignore this note and continue imagining him how you want. 😆

Chapter 8
"Manyata." Udayveer smiled in his sleep, dreaming about his lady-love. As the sunlight started to seep through the curtains and into his room, Udayveer woke up with a start.
He was immediately shocked to see Manyata leaning on his dresser with her arms crossed against her chest.
"Manyata!? Tum yahan?" Udayveer said.
"Halkat veda, how much do you sleep in one day?" Manyata asked. She came and sat on the edge of his bed while Udayveer continued to stare at her confusedly.
"Manyata, are you for real?" Uday couldn't help ask.
"Yakeen nahi aata toh chuke dekh lo," Manyata replied with a cute smile and twinkling eyes. Udayveer brought his hand forward to move a strand of her hair behind her ear and sure enough Manyata disappeared as soon as she had appeared.
"Dada, what are you doing?" Unnati asked with a half confused and half amused expression.
"Unnati?" Udayveer was surprised to see her and quickly covered up.
"Nothing at all Choti. I was just about to get ready." Udayveer got out of his bed.
He quickly grabbed his white towel and went to take a shower, shaking his head at himself. He was reminding himself more and more of a bollywood hero rather than a Yuvraaj.
Udayveer walked out of the shower, dripping wet and shirtless, and walked towards his bedroom closet, staring at his extravagant collection of clothes.
"Waise toh tum shirt ke bina bhi teekh-taakh lagte ho, but I think you should wear some clothes now Uday," Manyata announced to him.
"Princess!?"
Manyata started rummaging through his clothes until she found what she was looking for.
"Here wear this one," Manyata said pointing to a shirt.
"It's black." Manyata whispered. Udayveer, who no longer cared whether she was real or not, couldn't help himself from admiring her and they shared an eyelock. Then Manyata winked at him and disappeared.
Udayveer broke out of his daydreams and immediately scolded himself for it.
Oh God Uday! Oh God! You're really starting to lose your marbles, I tell you! Agar isi tarha chalta raha toh tum toh gaye kaam say, haan nahin toh!
Haan nahin toh!? What!? Okay enough is enough. Have to get ready and make it in time for breakfast at my wife-to-be's palace.
Udayveer's lips curved into a smile as he once again remembered the events of last night. Manyata's face was going to be priceless today, and he could no longer wait to see her!
***
Manyata woke up shuddering, as she remembered her dream, no nightmare. Thank God it wasn't real; otherwise she would never be able to show her face to Udayveer again. Okay it's true he looked kind of hot and she secretly loved his attention, but as if she would let him know all that and inflate his already big ego! Plus, she was mad at him, remember? She was not the type to let go of things that easily. Once someone broke her trust, even if she did forgive them, it would take a long time for her to stop doubting them. But then, isn't every girl like that inside?
Manyata took a shower and got ready super quick, since she had woken up late and was already kind of late for breakfast. Hurrying down the stairs, she quickly took a seat next to Vijay bhai, ignoring the empty seat next to Uday (not that it disheartened him, since he was still euphoric from the night before). She said Good Morning to everyone in her usual cheery tone, and kind of made that annoyed why-are-you-here expression at Uday as usual. Manyata started eating her breakfast, but had only eaten a few spoonfuls when she sensed something was wrong. Looking up from her plate, she wrinkled her forehead as she caught every single person staring at her a second ago, and then all look away at the same time when she looked up. She also noticed that they were a bit too smiley smiley and wondered what the joke was about.
Elbowing Vijay, she asked him, "Vijay, why is everyone smiling so much?"
"I think Manyata, last night you may have overdosed them on your Jungle-Queen tonic, so you see, the effects haven't worn off yet," Vijay replied, further confusing Manyata. It unnerved her further that everyone was paying close attention to her and Vijay talking.
"What are you talking about, Vijay?" Manyata asked. Vijay looked at her confused.
"Don't you remember? The Charity Ball and then you getting-,"
"Charity Ball? Funny you would mention it; I had a really weird dream about that last night, haan nahin toh!"
"And what exactly happened in this dream of yours Ms. Haan-Nahin-Toh?" Vijay asked.
"Well umm' I drank a lot of orange juice," Manyata replied stupidly.
"And then?"
"And then I said some very crazy things' and then umm I ran away and someone dropped me home," Manyata said, purposely leaving out the details as her sixth sense could feel his eyes on her.
"Sorry to break your heart sweetheart, but that wasn't orange juice, it was alcohol. And all this is NOT your dream, it's reality!" Vijay told her.
Manyata who had chose that second to take a sip of water, nearly choked on the water and started coughing. She could feel her cheeks starting to turn pink. She daringly took a peek at Udayveer. He looked as if he was going to burst out laughing any second and was exerting enormous amounts of self-control not too. Her eyes lowered to his shirt. It was black. Manyata's cheeks turned redder if possible and Uday noticing where her eyes had travelled and then the shocked expression on her face could no longer control his laughter and starting laughing out loud. Slowly everyone else at the table also started chuckling and Manyata slammed her hand on her forehead. Ugghh!! Why God!? Why!?
Everyone finally started to calm down.
"Ho gaya?... Ya abhi aur hassi a rahi hai?" Manyata asked all of them annoyed.
"No Manyata, don't get mad, beta. No one's laughing at you, we're just laughing at your cuteness and how innocent you are," Komal said.
"Sach M bhai..Yesterday I thought you were going to murder anyone who came close to Uday. Abhi se itni possessive!?" Vijay said teasingly and rasing his eyebrows.
Manyata's eyes grew wide and she wished she could choke Vijay bhai with her bare hands.
Then she considered locking herself in her room for the rest of her life and never coming out. She ate her breakfast in top-speed not looking up from her plate even for a second. Even then she could feel Uday's intense stare on her face and she hurriedly finished her breakfast and pretty much ran away from the table.
Up in her room, Manyata paced back and forth in her room, desperately trying to calm her poor heart down. Some situations are too overwhelming to handle and just needed to be ignored, so she tried distracting herself. It didn't help that there was nothing good on TV. Manyata flipped through the channels with a yawn, until she saw a picture of her and Udayveer on one of the news channels.
"Oh shit! Dadisaab's gonna kill me!" She said after reading the headlines.
They were about her and Uday's relationship. Turning up the volume, Manyata listened to some random dude talking about her life like he knew it inside-out!
"Like one can make out from these pictures. The Princess Manyata of Devgarh is seen rejecting the Yuvraaj Udayveer Singh from a dance. The couple was seen arguing and in a bad mood throughout last night's big social event, the Charity Ball. A trusted source has also informed us that Rajkumari Manyata even left the party earlier, obviously not able to bear the presence of her hated fiance. With the hatred in the air, how long can the ties between Devgarh and Jaigarh last? Should the rest of India see this as an opportunity? Is India's most-loved and admired Rajkumari Manyata now single?"
Manyata turned the TV off in frustration. So they had caught the whole rejection part but totally missed her drunken behavior? Great! Just when I thought things couldn't get worse. She knew that she didn't care about Udayveer or the relations between Devgarh and Jaigarh, but her Dadisaab did. It was definitely too sensitive a topic for the media to be gossiping about and exaggerating.
Manyata went to the living room and was sad to see all the family members busy answering annoying calls in an extremely bad mood.
"Dadisaab..." Manyata started.
"We will discuss this later Manyata. Before that I have some important calls to make. Excuse me," DS told her.
After DS left to her office, Manyata narrowed her eyes at Uday giving him an it's-all-your-fault look.
"What? Maine kya kiya? Maine tumse kaha tha kal itna bhau khane ko?" He said to her.
Manyata opened her mouth to reply, but before that one of the palace workers came to her with a big bouquet of red roses.
"Rajkumari ji, yeh aap ke liye kisi ne bheja hai" He said putting it down before her. And just like that five more bouquets arrived for her.
"Who's sending these?" Manyata said in confusion. She automatically looked at Udayveer accusingly again.
"Stop accusing me of everything that you don't like in your life Princess."
"Did I say anything?"
"No but it's that look that you give me, like I should be in a jail cell right now," Udayveer said.
"You guys stop fighting!" Vijay bhai said entering the scene.
"Oooh M-bhai. Who are all these Majnus sending roses for you?" He said after seeing the bouquets which by the way were still coming, endlessly being brought in by the servants. Vijay bhai spotted a letter in one of them and quickly opened it, reading it in his head, while Uday and Manyata stared at him confused, waiting to hear what all this was about.
Vijay started laughing, "Manyata, looks like you're getting some wedding proposals!"
"What!?" Manyata and Uday exclaimed together.
"Yeah well after last night sab chance mar rahe hai," Vijay opened a few more letters amused and started reading them out loud while Manyata just stared wide-eyed.
"Dear Princess Manyata, this is a letter from your secret admirer and lover Akash. Where do I start? Ever since the royal family found you and I saw you on my TV screen, I've fallen deeply in love with you. However, I always hated it when the news channels showed you with the Yuvraaj. Thankfully, God listened to my prayers and this morning was the most beautiful morning of my life, as I woke up hearing news of your break-up. Hope you will give this pagal lover of yours a chance. My Phone Number is 901-655-5550. Don't forget to call me baby. Yours forever, Akash Verma."
Manyata's eyes grew wide and jaw dropped open while Uday's fists were curling in anger.
"Oh! Ek aur ek aur!" Vijay said excitedly.
"This one's from a guy from Delhi. Let me see'umm it says, dear Rajkumari Manyata. Kya batayein hum aapko ke hum aapke kitne deewane hai. Jabse humari nazar aap par pari, humme love at first sight ho gaya. Aapki yeh aadayan-"
"Vijay bhai that's enough!" Manyata interrupted. She couldn't handle this torture any longer. The thought of random people stalking and fantasizing about her made her sick.
Looking at Uday she saw that he looked like he was going to murder someone, and saw him close his eyes for a couple seconds, evidently trying to subdue his anger. Finally, after quickly regaining his composure, he spoke.
"Bas bohat ho gaya!" He said to the servants.
"Ab aur koi phool andar lane ki koi zaroorat nahin hai. Aur jo ander le aye ho, unhe bhi phikwado!" Udayveer said, eyeing all the flowers with contempt.
"Ji Hukam." The servants proceeded to take the bouquets out of the palace. There must have been 25 in total, and more had been yet to come, if Udayveer hadn't refused them. Manyata took a deep breath to calm herself down and plopped herself down on the couch. What the hell had just happened? Thankfully her DS made an appearance and finally wanted to talk to Manyata.
"Uday, Manyata, both of you come with me to my office. I need to discuss something important with both of you."
"Ji Dadisaab" Manyata replied.
The three of them sat in DS's office.
"Like both of you know, your behaviours at the Charity Ball last night did not go well with the media."
"But Dadisaab-"
"I know Manyata, the news likes to exaggerate and add their own twists to the story, but whatever happened was not good. Manyata, the bottom-line is that at least for the public, if not you, you and Yuvraaj Udayveer are a couple since the day you were born and you both need to behave like one. It does not befit you to act this impulsively and immature at a social event of that scale. For the sake of our reputation at least, I hope in front of the media you both can at least act to be the couple you are supposed to be. Is that understood?"
"Yes Dadisaab. And I'm also really sorry. I'll be more careful next time." Manyata said apologetically.
"Good." DS said smiling at her granddaughter.
"Uday beta, I'm sorry for any trouble you and your family had to face because of this fiasco."
"Aap kaisi baatein kar rahi hai Dadisaab? Waise bhi hum sab toh ek hi parivaar hai na?"
"Humse aapse yehi umeed thi beta." DS said smiling.
"Ab aap dono ja sakhte hai."
Manyata and Uday both left the office. As soon as they got outside, Uday pulled Manyata's arms and trapped her between him and the wall with his arms on her either side. Manyata looked at him shocked.
"What are you doing!?" Manyata tried to escape but Udayveer blocked her way.
"Princess I was thinking, that since we have to act like a couple outside anyway, then shouldn't we practice a little bit," Uday said his face inches away from hers and with a mischievous look in his eyes.
"Koi zaroorat nahi hai! Anyways Dadisaab said to act like a couple outside, so there's no need for this here."
"Princess' you're acting like you don't enjoy this too." Uday said, tracing a finger on the side of her face then moving a loose strand of her hair behind her ear. Manyata felt entranced again, but used all her concentration to not let her eyes close. Quickly gaining her composure, she pushed his hand away.
"I think you're taking last night a bit too seriously Udayveer." Manyata said and pushed him off her.
"Of course I am Princess! Trust me, kal raat ko hum kabhi nahi bhulenge!" Uday said smirking. Teasing Manyata was like shaking a pop can. He waited for her to explode. Sure enough he could feel her anger rising and to make matters worse he chose the moment to wink at her.
"HALKAT VEDA! Suwar kahin ka! Agar tu iss duniya mein akhri larka bhi hota, to bhi mai kabhi tujhse shaadi nahi karti! Haat ja mere raaste se!" Manyata pushed him away angrily.
Little did she understand that her wild behavior did little to discourage Uday... If anything, it attracted him.

Uday, beta humne sunna ke Giriraj ki tabhiyat teek nahi hai. Ab woh kaise hai?" DS asked Uday. The whole family was sitting and chatting.
"It's better than before dadisaab. No need to worry," Uday smiled.
"Waise, Dadisaab humme ek urgent kaam yaad a gaya. Ab hum chalte hai," Uday said.
"Khama-ghari." Uday bid goodbye to DS, but was looking in Manyata's direction who just made a face at him and pretended to breathe a sigh of relief that Udayveer was finally leaving.
Before he could leave, J walked into the Raj Mahal with another person on her left. Ranvijay.Uday froze in his tracks and looked at both of them with a murderous look.
Manyata, infuriated, was also happy as this was her home and there would be no media to save Ranvijay from her today. DS looked at Uday, who just nodded his head at her, reassuring that there was no need to worry. Looking at Manyata, he decided that it was best to let her handle this today, as she looked like her anger was going to explode any second.
"Tu phir a gaya? Teri himmat kaise hui yahan aane ki!?" Manyata demanded.
"Princess Manyata, I'm still only here to ask you for your forgiveness," Ranvijay said with lowered eyes. He then gave Manyata a bouquet of white roses who took them from him without reluctance. Surprised he looked up to see her reaction. Her eyes were still full of rage and hatred for him, but him or anyone else for that matter, were still not prepared for what came next.
SMACK!
Manyata had slapped Ranvijay across the face with full force. Even before waiting for Ranvijay to recover from the shock of getting slapped, she walked away and on the way purposely threw the bouquet of white roses in a waste-basket.
All the family-members including Udayveer, just stared at Manyata's retreating form in awe.
Unable to contain his smile, Udayveer said to Ranvijay, "I hope ab tumhe tumhara jawaab mil gaya hoga."
Everyone was shocked when Ranvijay met everyone's eyes with no sign of anger or embarrassment. In fact he still looked sorry.
"I know everyone must hate me for what I did. I hate myself too. But trust me when I say that I truly want your daughter's forgiveness," Ranvijay said to the adults.
"I hope you guys can help lift the burden of guilt on my shoulders. Goodbye," Ranvijay folded his hands in respect before leaving the Raj Mahal.

Komal knocked on Manyata's door.
"Beta kya hum andar a sakhte hain?" She asked.
"Of course Ma. Yeh bhi koi poochne wali baat hai?" Manyata said.
Komal walked in seeing her beloved daughter sitting at her window staring outside. She sighed and sat beside her too.
"Manayata I wanted to talk to you about what happened today."
"Yes, mom."
"Aapki narazgi bilkul jayaz hai beta, laikin aapko ek aur baat bhi yaad rakhni chahiye."
"Kya, ma?"
"Forgiveness, Manyata. It's very easy to give someone your attention, your time, or your money. But often the hardest part is giving someone your forgiveness." Manyata looked at her mom's face with tears on her face.
"Maa, kya aap ko sach mein lagta hai ke iss sab ke baad bhi mujhe Ranvijay ko maaf kar dena chahiye?"
This time Komal turned teary-eyed.
"Aap ka dil bohat baara hai Manyata. Humme yakeen hai ke aap jo bhi faisla lengi, sahi hoga," Komal said and kissed Manyata on the forehead before leaving.
