Hey Guyz 😃 How're you all doing? Lately I've not been so active on the forum, it's all due to my flipping GCSE exams coming up next month, those of you who read my FF ... I sincerely apologise for not updating I only get 20 minutes or so of free time, therefore I'm gradually turning into a nerd "officialy" 🤓
Now Now, before you all take your time to remove your gorgeous foot-wear, to bruise me here and there, for the "Title" that I have given to this post 😆 Please hold onto them, till you reach the end of this post ... 😉 then you may do as per your will 😊
Ok to the main purpose of this post ...
Why is Uday the lead?
A lead is in other words, the hero or the protagonist of the show, all these words have the same meaning, they all portray a person in the lime light of the serial or soap they belong, they have a vast screen space, and their screen appearence is vital for the serial. A lead is someone who the audience most "identifies" with, someone they admire, someone they look up to, someone who wins their heart in almost every aspect if not all, someone who gets the audience hooked to the show. 😊
Let's look at Akash...
His character is that of a sweet guy, with an ambition in life to achieve something, but lately his only ambition was Manyata, or in other words his Moniya, even though he has his girl along his side, that doesn't necessarily make him a lead, because, a lead is someone who the majority of the audience if not all identify with ... and it is pretty obvious from our out-burst to his character and screen-play on this forum 😆 how much we love him, isn't it? 😕 Now a days, his charatcer seems to have been forgotten, not only by the other characters in the show, but what's more shocking is that the girl who did Akash Jaap 24/7, hasn't even mentioned his name once? (ThankGoodness) Now a lead is someone who shows up in almost all the episodes, and here the last we saw of Akash, was in some flashback 2 weeks ago 😉 That's it? Is that what you call a lead? A guy who randomly disappears ??? 😕 Now, why would the CVs keep Akash's disappearance a mystery? Here's my guess: Perhaps they want him to come back as a shock to everyone, but who cares of that? 😕 I mean what's the point of vanishing someone and bringing them back if the purpose was to start the Laila Majnu track once again and return to square one? You see, there is NO point what so ever, therefore I conclude that if there is to be an Akash's return, 97% chances there are (if not then no comments) ... then his return should bring a twist, no one wants to use a used tissue (any volunteers? 😆) therefore I believe Akash's return would be either evil, like I said before, or either it wil make Manyata realise that she has no love for Akash, it was all a little infatuation, and her love resides in Uday ... that's what a hopeless ManVeerian like me believes 😉
Let's look at Uday ...😉
His character has won many hearts (including mine☺️), the majority of the audience "identifies" with his character (some went beyond that 😆), they love every shade of his character (every part of his body to😆) , every layer ... his grey-shaded side, is the main attraction, since many people (all the ManVeerians) love the "bad-boy" side of this handsome, young, charming, sexy prince 😉 Not only are we hooked to his character, because of his Good-Looks, but we also adore him to the core, when he's all lovey-dovey around Manyata, his gentle-man behaviour is an aspect of him that makes us fall in love with his character, the CVs of DEK are very well aware of this, they are indeed very clever, they know that the majority of the audience wants spoons-full of Uday everyday, that is why he's given a vast screen space, he was give a dashing entry in the show, we fell for his charms the very first sight of him, didn't we? 😉
Moreover, why would the CVs bring such a drastic change in Uday if he wasn't the lead? 😕 He started of as a brutal, self-centered, proud, play-boy type of a Prince, and he's now an utter definition of what ladies call "Prince Charming" ... the CVs made his character fall in love with the female lead, turned him all positive, and what amuses me is, that if they had to show that Uday was not the lead, they could have simply shown Uday purposely trying to kill Akash, instead they portray it as an "accident" 😉 they make his character feel at guilt, they show regret in him, they show fear take over him ... 😃 Now, let us not forget the ManVeer scenes, be honest ... don't think like a ManVeerian ... think like some random person watching DEK for the first time, and when you see the ManVeer, be it as little as Uday holding Manyata in his embrace ... or be it Uday zipping Manyata's zip ... what would the first thing come to your mind? "They're a defo pair" right? 😉 Now, even though I'm only 15 ... I don't have much experience of watching serials as many of you here do, but I hail from a family that watches a lot of serials lol. Anyways, from what I've known from my experience of watching Indian Soaps, is the fact that in the history of all of them, there always is a "zipping scene" which always takes place between the "leads" ... I think I've stated my point here 😉
That's my answer to "Why is Uday the lead?" Hope you agree 😳
That's all I had to say for now, If you want you can believe in my rants above, if not you can simple just state your opinions, and do feel free to do so, I'll appreciate feedback of all sort 😃
Then again, you can tag this post as "BIASED" since I'm a ManVeer-hard-core Fan, but I have actually tried my best to keep the arguement stated on the facts (lol, I sound like my psychology teacher and book 😆)
Ohh and I hope all those who had removed there foot-wear to beat the crap out of me 😆 Have taken a sensible decision by the end of this 😉
Anyways, do let me know what you think, please do leave comments, I spent a lot of time on this 😊 And do hit "LIKE" if you liked the post 😉
Cheerz xx
