DEK to follow the HDDCS path?

I'm probably not the only one stuck wondering about this...but what if DEK takes the Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam Twist? Here's a little something that went through my mind: UV will make Akash leave town. Eventually, him and Manyata will get close. Viewers will be under the impression that finally M loves UV, when really she still loves Akash. UV finds out about this and is broken-hearted, but still decides to help M look for A, which makes her realize what his significance is in her life.

I feel like that would be a super cute story line, but then again not really😛 Firstly, I'll be miserable watching M NOT being in love with UV, and still missing/thinking about Majnu. But when she does realize how much UV cares for her, she'll start to fall for him? 😊

Sorry if someone already suggested this...this just struck me today and I was like...O.M.G.MIND.BLOWN.
