I'm here to bore you yet again. Please excuse my audacityđł
I have to tell you, VB stressed me out with Manyata's hunaaarrr (talent) in today's epi, 𤣠I ended up having to try it myself! Being a Punjaban, I caught onto Manyata's roll-off-the-tongue version easy (although Punjabi comes in many flavours). BUT, I must have some royal blood in me as well as my pronounciation of VB's version was pretty good (in all humility of courseđ). Hello, UV are you listening? Why must you just be a character? (Okay, don't answer that).
The Umar/h ka Funda actually, is the fact that VB ko poori umarh lag jaati M ko sikhaatey, lekin Yuvraj Udayveer ne ek pal mein bulvaaleya. Such is his influence on her - ever strenghtening, building the foundation for what is to come. VB was about to rip his hair out in frustration having spent merely a few minutes in training his junglee sister. Yet, she would only be tamed by the Dark Knight, waiting to wage the war that he has already won.
Of course he would know the lyrics to "Bol na halke halke," the melody is all about how ek umar mein do insaan kitni umrey jee jaate hain, ek saath. The song tells the story of how two ajnabee (strangers) unite in the most random and unexpected circumstances. Their collision is such that they are forced towards each other even when standing against one another (kite scene in the video). And then, step-by-step, their dreams entwine and bloom into a beautiful reality. Eventually, they build a family together -- really, a new world of their own. Which is precisely what ManVeerians look forward too as wellđł
umar lagi kehte hue, do lafz teh... ek baat thi...
