That Aakash is only trouble for Manyata and Uday uska solution! šŸ˜‰

Seriously Majnu, Ghalib ki shairi? "Aah ko chaiye ik umar asar hone tak...kon jeeta hai tere zulf ke sar hone tha." This is Ghalib's poetry and I know because I studied it two years ago in my 10th class's Urdu book. It still baffles me! And he wrote it for his MONYA?! That Monya who is illiterate?! Pyaar pagal hota hai but it's not that illogical! Ghalib's poetry makes so many people lose their minds because it's kinda tough, definitely not immature poetry I tell you! And he chose GHALIB'S poetry to be written in his LOVE LETTER! Grow up Majnu! It would be a torture letter for her NOT a love letter!

Whereas Uday, meri JAAN Uday! How easily he made her say the correct pronunciation of the word! Vijay Bhai was literally on the verge of banging his head on the wall because she wouldn't just get it! Uday came and he noticed the situation in two seconds.

"Umren lagi kehte hue
Do lafz the...ik baat thi"

You have to teach kids in their language. Similarly, for someone as filmy and dramatic as Manyata, you have to use some filmy language. Which Uday did. He quoted lyrics of a beautifully romantic song to teach her and within a minute, she caught up! Isn't that what perfect partners do?! They know what the other person is comfortable with and they use methods which would allow the other person to learn easily and in a fun way. "Itna bhi mushkil nahin hai Princess..."

To think that Uday loves Manyata from the sidelines and he basically knows everything about her. Can't help but compare him to Majnu who wants Manyata on his side all the time but still he doesn't know what her basic mind set is. Even a FOOL can tell which one is a better choice.

Deliberate or not, I think the CVs themselves portrayed the difference between the maturity regarding love of Uday and Majnu. Majnu lives in his bubble fantasy and wants Manyata to tag along with him just so he gets strength. Whereas Uday only sees her from sidelines but he wants her to grow and learn and wants himself to be the strength for her.

All in all, it's PROVED that Majnu and Monia have NO FUTURE because frequency doesn't match even at small things whereas Uday and Manyata's chemistry click even at the smallest of things, strengthening their unnamed relationship even more! 😳 Hayyeee...isn't ManVeer just beautiful! šŸ˜

P.S - Another thing was also proved today - Uday is in LOVE with Manyata! Not infatuation as I thought it to be, the guy is in LOVE. Marjawan! šŸ˜

MAISY MY LOVE.šŸ¤—

I just died after reading this...because its so bloody accurate!šŸ‘
Uday understands M on a level that Akash never can; and it's simply not because Akash doesn't love M- I'm sure he does- but more so because Uday is a people person- he understands how to read people; their strengths and weaknesses. He can tell what you're thinking, feeling and he does his best to Understand you and where your stance is...simply because he has been groomed to be an avid leader, and any great leader can put on a facade and or see through one- and fin solutions to problems where there seem to be none- Case and Point DS. Flip side, VB- he simply does not have the traite UV has to deal with the situation in a calm, cool and level manner.
Now, I'm going to use this point again: Akash's love is very High School. I remember in high school when boys would buy Valentine's day cards from Hallmark, without a clue as to what it meant, spend money on chocolates and flowers in an attempt to impress, woo or win over and girls would happily enjoy it all. BUT they fail to understand the the essence behind love- to simply understand, be with and appreciate eachother: There doesnt have to be so much bloody icing on the cake: the cake just needs to taste good! And it's the same thing with words, as you so lovely stated. That if Akash is going to throw around such heavy words- which she would NEVER understand...what does that show? that he doesnt understand her...and he's losing sight of what little he DID understand, insecurities, and doubt are seeping in causing him to resort to colour full adjectives and powerfull quotes...but he's forgotten the essence of it all. That for M, a simple "ILU" would have sufficed, and been worth more.
And this is where UV's intuitiveness is coming in...he get's it. Not just because of his persona (which adds another layer of understanding) but because HE GETS HER. He gets her more then he's ever gotten a girl...and even though he knows she doesnt feel the same way for him...he's able to articulate and express himself in a way that SHE gets things.
It's simply amazing the different sides to a simple act, and this post does a perfect example of showing it. GAAAHHH! SO EXCITED! 😳

Mousie awesome postāļøNice observation, lolz Majnu in his excitement actually forgot that all this would go bouncer for M .UV is a game changer he himself has less intrest in films(remember hume Raj bane ka shauk nahi hain)but for M's sake he was quick to think the dialogue..
Now one thing I noticed that Akash wants Moniya for his growth but on the other hand UV selflessly puts efforts for Manyata's growth

Reeha! I love you! Always the first! 😳

You just made me remember something - in a conversation words are just some letters attached together if they don't get their meaning across. That's what Majnu did today. No doubt his choice of words that he wrote were of high class but he didn't stop and think for one moment that that high class would give Manyata some serious headache.

Uday consciously and unconsciously is putting Manyata before everything else now, something that Aakash has never done. Aakash has always wanted Manyata beside him, never before him. But Uday doesn't care two hoots about anything anymore. He wants her and sear to God, he will HAVE her. But he will no longer force her. He would make her say YES to him! God! can't wait for that day!! 😳

I never felt that Aakash was one of the selfless lovers...his was always a teenage love. Like a fantasy. And it baffled me that how could a mature person like him fall in love like a 12 year old without any thought about consequences at all! He fails to change according to situation. Whereas Uday does. He treats a person like they deserve to be treated. Right now, he knows that Manyata needs time and some companionship and he is ready to give her both. He doesn't force her like Majnu does.

Can't wait anymore yaar! ManVeer finally!!! 😳

u know mias to write such complicated poetry ...
ah ko chahiye ek umar asar hone tak
kaun jeeta hai teri zulf ke sar hone tak...
and it also has another line in it saying
aashiqui sabar talab aur tamana betaab
dil ka kya rang karoon khoone jigar hone tak..
and it kinda makes the recipient bit guilty with lines like..
hum ne maana ke tagaful na karoge lekin
khak ho jayenge hum tum ko khabar hone tak...
this letter after 2 days of seperation... na na na...thsi alone shows the depth of his love or his understanding of meaning of love...
and uday has been waiting for hhiswhole life hence such a apt sher ..umrein lagi kehte hue
do lafz the ki baat thee...
both of them did shayri one did beautiful shayri no doubt but with no meaning whatsoever to his and manyata's situation..its a poem for some one who is longing for their beloved for years and who are at that phase of life where they r not too sure of their love

Hi Maisie,
The part in green bold: Akash himself says that Manyeta is his escape from mundane day to day life...she makes him feel happy and fantasize! I think that's the attraction for Akash, that she gets him to loosen up and take a break from his responsibilities...I think that sort of attraction (I don't even think it deserves to be called love) is just so 'matlabi'..you know, so like he is using her to escape from his reality.

The first posts that you and Reeha made are both excellent. It was a pleasure reading everything, and between the two of you, you managed to put the whole situation in such an organised way...yeah, I do believe that the CV's are now portraying Akash's and Manyeta's 'infatuation' as infatuation per se, vs Uday's REAL love for Manyeta. And I too, always believed that Akash and Moniya are so high school and yesterday! Today's world has SO moved on!

mais beautiful post
ur said that so wonderfully reflecting manveer relationship with monash..
manveer there bond is so strong & deep them still need to learn that about themself...its still the time they need to realise wht they hold with each-other...
that scene it was short but BEAUTIFUL .made realise what manveer hold in themself...that spark they carry around its amazing to watch..

the beauty that scene holds 100 songs played on BG on monash couldn't do anything what those few lyrics of the song said by UV did...

the scene was a classic one to watch...it is something really new & different to watch...very pleasing to eyes...UV saying those lines making her say that word in her way...holds the charm of there bond there share says within sec he made her learn that word which VB was pulling his hair to make her learn...the heart felt connection.
