Agree with you here, although I actually did feel very sorry for Akash..just because he looked so out of place.

Starting with Manyata - today she proved that she could become a princess if she wanted to. Just give in to her (her doll Akash) and she is all lovely dovey with the family. Today as she was showing off her house (mera ghar) she didnt feel uneasy nor out of place. She was sweet and even overlooked Jai and Vijay's insult. Well well well...the ice had indeed started to thaw. She i super happy that Akash has been accepted and DS was bang on in making her believe the same.

Yeah, even I was wondering about that. Usually Manyeta is really good with comebacks, and she let everyone, pretty much insult Akash without really defending him, she just told him to pretty much ignore them or explained them away. One key thing today as has been mentioned before, is the fact that she has forgiven Uday...she is sooo innocent..really! Can anyone be that gullible? And she even gave UDAY the first jamun with an insult to be sure, but it was a cute rapport between two people who are actually comfortable with each other...and she used the word MERA sarehue papite (I still don't know what that means, though!) but the fact that she said MERA!!! and UDAY was FIRST...! Very significant, I tell you!

Akash - he was throughly uncomfortable. Firstly with the sudden invitation to the palace, secondly with DS and Uday's behaviour and thirdly and most importantly with Manyata's change in behaviour. The simple things that Manyata wishes to change will not be simple anymore. It will define her as a person and will evolve her into something more than a fun loving bubbly Monya and Akash has already realized this. He has started to realize that a princess loves him and that will definitely make him uncomfortable and ego will come to play. He has understood where he stands.

Yeah, he was really uncomfortable and out of place today, but you could see that he still maintained his self respect! Even when he was subject to insulting behaviour and scorn by the other members of the family!

Uday - took everything in his stride and is all get set go to win his princess. But this time he isnt gonna use force or power or money, he only has himself and his heart. He will start showing traces of humaity and will humble him to an extent that Manyata will start relating to him.

Yup and all I can say is GO UDAY!

Vijay bhai and Jai - play pivotal roles in the transformation of Monya into Manyata. Today as jai and Vijay were royally insulting Akash, not even DS stopped them but she actually gave a sly smile which indicated that this is exactly what she wanted Akash to feel.

DS - JAI HO RAJMATA, you are a brilliant statesman and you are the one who writes their future. No wonder you're the queen. By getting Akash into the palace you have shot two birds with an arrow

1) Got back Manyata's trust and,

2) Sowed the first seeds of doubt and uncertainity in Akash's mind.

Three months are more than enough to water them and to finally reap the fruits of your harvest.
