"How Could My own DaadiSaab do this to me ???" Thought Manyata. She wanted to scream in front of everybody. But the royal etiquettes she had learned in these few months made her to smile.
It was Udayveer's 25th B'Day (2 reasons for why 25th. I think most of u will understand. But ppl who don't feel free to ask J). The man she hated most in her life. The man whose evil smirk made her furious. The man she was betrothed to. Her DS wanted to gift him something really special. Everything was kept under wraps. Nobody knew what was it except the trio. DS, her mom and her father. All this secrecy made her excited may be more than UV. She wanted to know what was so special in that gift and when it was disclosed hell broke on her.
~Few moments earlier~
"Why he always keep me to his side. Why I have to give these lovey dovey pose with this kameena. Why I have to be yin of the Royal Couple?? "A lot was going on in Manyata's head when UV offered her the first bite of his B'Day cake. How tempting that cake was she didn't even wanted to taste it be it from his hand but with all this media at Jaigarh Palace she had to take it and whats more she had to offer him back. After all they were the Royal couple. They were the talk of whole country. She could cause embarrassment to her family by not having and offering cake to her fianc. Her fianc. And she hated him. And whats more she loved someone else.
Suddenly light went off. There were two spotlights. One on UV and another one on her DS. So it was time, thought Manyata, excited like a child for UV's gift. She looked at him once to see emotions on his face. Still calm and composed. Can't he show a bit of excitement.
Just the DS started her speech
"Happy B'Day Uday beta. Aap nahi jaante hum aaj kitane kush hai. Sabse jyada isiliye ki ye din hume dekhne ko mila. Aap aur Manyata ko ek saath. Vo bhi sirf aapki vajah se. Isiliye hum aaj aapko kuch special dena chahte hai. Hume iske sivaye aur kuch nahi soojha. Hum aapko Humari sabse pyari cheez, Humara heera,humari poti par aapki aamanat, humari Manyata aaj aapko gift kar rahe hai. Hum jaante hai Manyata to bachpan mei hi aapki ho gayi thi par ab hum chahte hai ki aap ab Jaldi se Devgarh ki Rajkumari ko Jaigarh ki Maharani bana ke le jaaiye. Pandit ji ne agle mahine ka mahurat bhi nikaal liya hai. Bas ab aapki haan ka intezaar hai."
Hell broke loose on Manyata. Her family gifted her to Uday on his B'Day. How could they. All that excitement on her face was replaced by a shock and anger. Her blushing face turned pale in fraction of a second on hearing her DS words. She bent a little to see UV's face one. That calm face was replaced by biggest smile on earth. He was excited on hearing what her DS has just said.
"What was I thinking of course he is happy. After all he just got what he always wanted. HER. Along with her whole Devgarh estate. She asked Uday if he was ready but what about me ?? Don't I have say when they are making decisions for my life too. She didn't even cared to tell me about all this forget asking my opinion. Is she my DS or his ??"
Her thoughts were interrupted by a manly touch on her hand. He was about to grab it then took it back. She was happy for once. But then she noticed the same hand on her waist.
"chale Manyata" he asked her in his angelic voice.
How much she wanted to say No. but then She couldn't. She was his now. Or she will be in a month. Officially
"As soon as he reached alter he asked Daadi saab " when is their Wedding date is fixed ??"
"Next month Beta"
"Can't we get married now ??" asked Uday with his usual smirk. Manyata was shocked to hear. Why he's behaving like a desparate ?? I thought he knew I didn't even liked him forget loved him.
"Nahi beta. Hum rajwade hai. To shaadi aise kaise ho jaayegi ?? Atleast 2 weeks tak function chalenge"
She wanted to thank DS for her great reply.
"Beta aap dono ka roka to bachpan mei hi ho gaya tha par bachpan ki angoothi to ab aap dono ko fit nai aayegi to vaisi hi humne aap dono ke liye thode bade size mei banva di hai' EK doosre ko pehna dijiye"
"Of course Daadi sahib. Maanyata apna haath dijiye"said Uday.
She wanted to really give him her hand on his face. a tight slap. He knew she didn't loved him. She loved Aakash. How can someone be this power hungry that he don't even notices silent tears os a girl whom he claim to be his bff at time of his childhood. What else do you want take me in your arms and kiss me in front of whole world. She knew he Can. And now he had full right to do so.
A beautiful ring was slightly slipped by him in her hand.
"Manyata beta. Ab aap bhi Uday ko angoothi pehna dijiye"
She really wanted to question her grandmother for the first time after she realized what being true princess is.
" The only thing left to do now was to gift wrap me". Then she saw her dress.. Indeed she was gift warpped. And that too very effectively. A valentino gown was specially tailormade for her that too for this occasion. Although she looked good in every kind of dress but she looked almost godly like in this one. No one could match her beauty especially in this dress. Then a thought came in her mind and she thanked god he will not unwrap her. Atleast not for a month.
But then it was her grandmother and she couldn't even argue her forget challenging her decision even if it was about her.
After posing for newspaper and dancing together for the first time, she asked Uday to excuse her for second.
"Jaldi aana Jaan. Im waiting" said uday (Incase anyone remember he called her Jaan once that to in front of Paakash).
With that excuse she ran to find a corner where she could cry her heart out without anybody noticing it. She found one. Or what it seemed her to.
"Moniya tum yaha baithi ho. AAj to tum pure time dada ke saath chupki hui thi. Hums ek baar bhi baat nahi ki. Aise thodi chalta hai. Achcha Congrats Bhabhi" said Unnati but she didn't got her reply.
"Moniya.." she called her once and lifted her face and a fraction of second she realized her sadness.
"Moniya tum dukhi ho. Ku ?? achcha hum samjh gaye. Ek month ke time mei tumhe apni family chod ke humare saath rehne aana hoga. Yahi baat haina.. Itne thode se time mei tum sabse kaafi close ho gayi ho. But Moniya tumhe kabhi na kabhi to chodna hi tha vo ghar. Aur balki humare ghar mei hum aur dada hai na tumhe kisi ki kami mehsoos nahi hone denge" added Unnati
"Unnati tum samajh ku nai rahi ho. Mai tumhare dada se pyar nahi karti. AAkash se karti hu au humesha ussi se karrongi. Upar se tumhara bhai bhi mujhse pyar nahi karta. Usse to bas Devgarh ki gaddi chahiye bas. Mujhe Maharani nahi banna mujhe to bas pyar karne vaala pati chahiye bas"
Unnati looked at her in shock. She didn't knew how to answer her back. She thought Manyata has accepted her family fully. She understood being a princess. She remembered the time when she had helped her for planning Aakash's B'Day. She thought this was her trying to keep a thread attached to her old life. But also she'll forget him soon as soon as she becomes a true princess.
"Aao hum tumhe kuch dikhate hai" said Unnati
"Kaha le kar jaa rahi ho hume ??"Exclaimed Manyata
"Dada ka kamra dikhane"
