ManVeer : The Seeds Of Collateral Damage.

Before I kick off with today's slice on ManVeer , just two observations about Maanyata's DUAL relationship with UV.
Within 4 walls of her room, Maanyata fights with UV, hates him, hits him, abuses him and swears that they will never be friends and that nothing is going to happen between them.
Outside the 4 walls , Maanyata gloats, grins and smiles in pride and protection pride when UV stands by her , takes her side, shields her from the ire of her family's justified anger. Yes, she hates him but when he is by her side , her head and neck go up and she gets to throw Jaanwar and party the 'I am the queen' look.
FRENEMIES , eh? Hmm.😉
Coming to today's episode, UV is slowly un-layering. The grins, the smirks , the facade is slowly giving way to the raw wounded lion inside the calculative Machiavellian wolf. Maanyata hurts him and that hurt is beginning to seep into the man inside him. You see that hurt and rejection smoothly converted into harmless flirting with Unnzie's friend. Because as he words it himself, he wants to be sure that the UV charm is still effective. Maanyata's rejection and 'disgust' for him plays at the back of his head when that fashion and make up disaster writes her number on his palm. His wounded pride and his challenged manhood makes him go bitter and tell Unnzie that he behaves with Maanyata exactly like she behaves with him . The rejected , vindictive fiance inside him doesn't care how pricked Maanyata will be but she has to know that you don't get away with putting your hand in a lion's mouth. UV's logic ? Same as Maanyata's. If Maanyata is upset , she makes sure that the whole world becomes upset with her. If UV burns , he will not burn alone ' he has his fundas pretty clear and definite ' If I bleed , you better call for a blood bank too.
Next day , when the whole royal khaandaan beats the living daylights out of Maanyata and rightly so, you just have to look at the glare of disappointment and rage that UV gives Maanyata all along ( I love love love DS and Brijraj for nikaaloing band , baaja , baraat of Maanyata by throwing some staff facts in her face ) '..but , but, but, UV maybe vindictive but he is an ace politician and a walkie-talkie chessboard. When Brijraj tells him to tackle Maanyata and drive some sense into her , UV gulps his pride , ego and the vindictive opponent inside him. He , UDAYVEER, folds his hands and apologizes to her for treating Kaka like that and promises to get him back on the job and treat the staff nicely. In one sixer shot , the conniving mysterious prince kills all the opposition and all the possible bad blood. In a blink of an eye , he shields Maanyata's honour , proves himself the best husband/son/son-in-law/king material and turns everyone in Maanyata's favour. UV bowed and kneeled'.. why? Because his eyes are set on winning THE WAR and not these small battles that Maanyata stays entangled in. UV doesn't play the game because he knows he is not supposed to play the game ' he is what we call a gamechanger and you have had enough instances by now to know that just how he can change the whole game.
But, what about the ManVeer interaction in Maanyata's room? Nothing pretentious , fake or veiled about it. They both were raw , confrontational and definite. UV's playful sweet mood of a rabbit turned into the rage and rant of a predator when Maanyata rejected , rebuked and abused him all over again- again throwing the Pakaash pages in his face. This time, UV didn't hide the sting he feels behind a smirk or a flirting shot. He categorically told her that it gets to him , it affects him when she rejects him like this. But if she thinks that this will push him away , then, she should know that there is just one race , one trophy in his life'..and that is Maanyata. His passion of course scares her away , no matter how good a fight she puts up. So , madam, ran out of his arms , and out of the room. For the ZIILLIONTH time, Maanyata rejected him and his faint signs of goodness. And , UV is only HUMAN. Maanyata pricked him and he is going to make sure that the blood drips on her too.
As for the rest of the episode, DS and Brijraj were too good when they drove some sense into Maanyata that they are not running slave trade and she needs to stop taking those bhaashan drugs. Vijay's dialogues were a killer ,man . UV , DS and Komal had a good mood to break is nose when he was imagining Maanyata committing suicide. What epic lines this man gets , yaar! Love you Mark for being so fab, my sweetheart.
As for Jaanwar , well, her hatred, jealousy and rising tower of revenge against Maanyata and UV is going to be a big explosion someday. Coffeewaali Bua continues to provoke her, UV makes her feel like garbage and her own desperation only gives him an ego high. He has literally drilled MANVEER into her head and her ego.
Now, why I called this post 'Seeds of Collateral Damage'. Well, going by a writer's instinct and the story logic , all this harmless flirting and pricking by UV on Jaanwar and other beauties , all these lectures of Maanyata to UV regarding Pakaash ' all these scattered wounds are going to turn into one monster septic when ManVeer do get together ( if at all.). ManVeer have no idea that they have already created examination papers for their own test ' Jaanwar and Pakaash.

DS : Maanyata humnein ye baal dhoop mein safed nahiin kiye. Hum jaante hain ki aapne ye sab humein Maali Kaaka ko naukri se nikaalne ki sazaa dene ke liye kiya hai.😡
UV : Oho , badaa romance kood rahaa hai tumhaare andar. Ek baat yaad rakho Maanyata , jahaan tak jeep ki race ka sawaal hai, hamaari race bhi tum ho aur trophy bhi tum.😎
Maanyata: Gharwaalon ke liye hoga tu Shahrukh Khan aur Amitabh Bacchan. Mere liye tu hamesha Gulshan Grover hi rahega.😡
Vijay : Oops! Kahiin Maanyata suicide karne to nahiin chali gayi? I mean, woh hamesha sui ke uss tarah rehti hai na jisse woh hum sabki ego ko phuss karti rehti hai.😆
P.S- Jaanwar, my darling , next time, when you show off your knees , please make sure they are scrubbed clean and softened. Aur meri jaan, denim shorts pehenke iss sansaar mein kaun yoga kartaa hai?😲
