I prefer UV over Akash because...

1) X Factor - He's not Goody two shoes but he isn't the villain either. He's a complete mystery. You can never tell what this guy is thinking. He - so far from what I've gathered - is a good guy at heart (you an see it in some very specific scenes) - him remembering the childhood Manyata or talking to komal etc. But he isn't perfect. He's got gray shades in him - character flaws. And for some weird reason that appeals to me - I don't know but it just marks him out as different from all the other male protagonists on TV and so much more REAL! Not to mention we don't even know how he is completely yet - his character is like an onion - slowly unraveling to reveal different layers underneath. Maybe its the mystery element in his character - it just gets to you. You WANT to know more about him.

2) Potential - He's got a lot of potential for character growth. Right now he's after riyasat, but later if he changes because he falls in love with Manyata - a lot of neg characteristics will change into pos attributes. And that creates the potential for a great story. This would be something new and different - whereas if Manyata ends up with Akash - its the same old princess and the pauper. What's different?🥱

3) Compatibility - Him and Manyata have this. Akash and her don't. He's the only one that can reason with her - Hell, he got her to surrender a gun without even lifting his finger! They're both headstrong and can therefore keep each other in check - Akash can't do that. She left him for her baba and he stayed back because of his bike! He has no hold over her - UV does and its evident in the talwaar scene as well.

4) Intelligence - 👏 A+++++ This guy is smart! He knows what he wants and he knows how to get it. He's not dumb - I don't know what it is with Indian TV but most male protagonists seem to be unaware of what's going on. Once again, UV is different. Manyata is quite naive - whereas UV's been playing around with the politics of the kingdom since he was born. They compliment each other here again. If UV's got the brains then Manyata's got the heart to rule a kingdom.

5) Unlike Akash, he's not typical🥱. He's different and that's what makes him interesting.

6) The fact that Manyata-UV share explosive chemistry doesn't hurt either.

....And I think I'll stop here 😆

You guys also mention how Uday has more personality and is a more interesting character than Akash. Although its obvious that looks play a big part in all of your decisions to chose U over A. I mean if the actors that play each character were switched how many of you still would chose U over A ? Im not saying thats wrong. I mean its only a show, and its fun to see two goodlooking opposites attract. Atleast for me.

For me the show would flop entirely then. If Akash played the role of UV - he'd have character depth but zero chemistry with Manyata and UV would look good with Manyata, but he'd have zero character depth if he was playing the role of Akash = flop. At the end of the day its a fictional show that has a romance genre and if the leads don't have chemistry...you might as well shut shop. And if your character doesn't have any actual character it really makes me wonder what the writers are doing.

I can't help but applaud the directors and CV's for this👏 It just shows you how much thought they put into the casting and story - the show definitely has an outstanding cast - its almost like each character was tailor made for the actor playing it and each character was made to progress the story as a whole. You just can't imagine somebody else in their place👏.

of course...i like uday because he is gud looking..BUT that's not d only reason..uday's character is very well written, i mean he is quite diffrent personality(dat makes him so appealing)😍.Though i agree dat his character has a grey shade but he is not shown as villian who might harm others for his profit.

And i completely disagree that akash and manyata will make a gud pair (they lack chemistry) i dont think they have dat potential to carry the story forward.whereas manyata and uday will rock as a couple coz opposite attracts

I think you should watch the rest of episodes and your opinion of uday will change. There have been many moments after where uday has shown genuine emotions towards moniya and not treat her like a robot.

We know there is no Love betweem Uday and Manyata. don't want them to fall in love overnight like Akash and Manyata in the most random manner too 😆 😆 Uday is complicated, cold and uses Manyata, snd i would love to see how the "matlabi" guy who does not know the "L" of Love, FALLS in love with Manyata 😍 i find such concepts very Fascinating. As for the future, even if they go for akash manyata, i think Uday and Manyata have much more story, growth, layers and Potential. Respect ur POV, welcome to the forum.

There are many reasons why

Yes UV is hotter than Akaash...pple can say thats not the only reason, but that plays a huge role and I aint afraid to admit it. Had Akaash been played by Karan Hukku or Mohit Malik or Himmanshu Malhotra etc etc then it would have been a tougher choice with divided results

Secondly, Akash looks late 30's. I almost fell out of my coach when I saw this old guy playing a love interest of a young girl like Monia (she looks 18ish)...how or why that casting was done is beyond me. There are times that an older actor and younger actress ( Prachi and Ram K) are accepted but the age is part of the story line

Also UV is not "evil" per say...not for now...he appears to care for Monia at some level but his higher calling is to gain power over the two "kingdoms" and so you see him 'switching parties' for his gain.

The main reason UV appeals to me more is because he seems realistic, not a typical chocolate hero. I'm not going to lie, some of it does have to do with his good looks but only to an extent. Like other people said, UV and Manyata have amazing chemistry, whereas Akash and Manyata have no spark whatsoever.
But thats just my personal opinion, some may disagree.
