Uday is Prince whose marriage was fixed with Princess Manyata since their childhood. Princess Manyata is J aka Jay Nandini's eldest sister who was kidnapped at the age of 3 by Murari and it's been 16 years she has not returned back.

As per the articles it's Akash who is the male lead.

He is a doctor who has been trying to find Manyata since past 16 years.

It has not been revealed why Manyata kidnapped her. It's still a mystery. Manyata is the eldest so the one who marries her the chances of him getting throne of Devgarh is high. Apart from that Manyata's mother father willed his property in Manyata's name. It's not been revealed why he did that.

Uday is Prince of another kingdom who's roka was done with Manyata where they were kids. Till then they have been waiting for her return.
