Are successful people prone to Character assassination?
yes, they are. look at how each and every presidential candidate here has all their skeletons pulled out of the closet during primaries😆 unsuccessful frustrated logon per koi kyoon dhyaan dega bhala as no one wants to be in their shoes😊
waisey bhi some losers can't stomach seeing others succeeding in life - be it professional or personal - and resort to this cheapest and dirtiest trick to get some twisted satisfaction that somehow, they are better than the successful one😛 height of being delusional....i tell ya😉
In particular, are women prone to Character assassination , in the times of competition?
i think all successful people are equally prone to character assassination. it is not gender specific. but it is easier to slander a woman in our culture than a man due to so many taboos and different societal expectations associated with females. start one rumor about any woman's character, whether successful or not, and most will readily believe the rumor.
Do women support women?
most do...some don't. just like not all men support men all the time.
Do men support women?
yes, most do....some don't.
Do men oppose men little?
hahaha....haan...here at DM, some oppose each other all the time...a lot😛😉😆

The issue of Character assassination is found more when the women is trying to reach the top positions .....whether its politics or art or corporate field...
Do you agree with me?
only partially. i agree with the point if you take out the gender twist out of there. like i said above, it could be for anyone having the potential to reach the top position. jealous people are usually equal opportunity jealous😆
BTW what is character and who defines it?
Watch your thoughts; they become words. Watch your words; they become actions. Watch your actions; they become habits. Watch your habits; they become character. Watch your character; it becomes your destiny. (Author Unknown)
I feel that character is learned from your parents, teachers and friends. Character relates to attitudes and values. Your character defines the type of person you are and your upbringing defines your character to a large extent😊
what are its standards?
I feel there are certain core ethical values that lay the foundation of someone's character. They include trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, and citizenship.
Does its standards change with society to society?
No, the ethical core values remain similar in each and every culture and society but how easily someone's character can be assassinated may vary from society to society as people have a tendency to confuse character with personality and certain societies do not receive certain personalities that readily. For example, in west, it would be hard to assassinate a woman's character based on how she dresses up but in eastern culture, it would be fairly easy to do so. Same goes for friendship between opposite sexes. Some cultures find it slanderous and some don't.
