NRI thinking Vs Desi Thinking

Hi alll

I agree with some points..the NRI Boys/Grils are more mature and more hard working as they are independent. Most start working as soon they turn sixteen and dealing with the real world make them tougher and more practical.... 😳

'some people' 😉says Desi peoples are more matured, well behaved, sober, more beautiful, more intelligent, more understanding,Respect elders, polite and has so many good qualities, ..............etc etc and they all teach you to be this sweet little precious flower who would coyly avert her gaze and "save" herself for marriage and obediently stay home and cook and clean for your hubby who as a result, becoems fatter and fatter by not helping out with housework or the kids, of which he expects you to birth no less than 6! 😉😛

I think most of NRI families abroad who have been brought up in extremely conservative families 😳and I know of boys/girls living in India who are extremely independant and liberal....I do suspect that women are still very orthodox indians. Meaning, pretty much everything that everyone described; "polite," introvert, shy, conservative, blah blah blah...the usual bollywood movie type of crap. Personally, I believe that all the girls should just visit to foreign countries and learn something called "independence." I'm not saying no one knows it, I'm saying, more women to learn what it is. About the guys, I think should all be sent to India so they wouldn't think about x or any sort of perverted "arousals" (wouldn't matter, we were born perverted). 😳😛

Whats the Main difference you feel ?or the Way of thinking is same?😳

Who are more mentality more independent and submissive? 😳

the main difference can be, NRI being all pink and plump and desis being all dull and bore....😉 I fail to see any difference in their way of thinking..., Desis have become lot practical and outgoing , kadam se kadam with NRIs.

Desis are more Intellectual but they lack presentation, difference here is of accent. NRIs are more convincing.

Both are Independent, Even desis are taking up jobs at a young age....

Desis are submissive, NRIs would all the more be happy with what they are !

P.S - I think the debate is more in your mind, as to marry a NRI gal or desi patni..😉 😆 (good thought actually, afterall forumers ki bhi rai lene chahiyeh) 😛

I dont think its right to campare the thinking of the whole community.. Bec each community thinks according to its traditions and customs and by comparing the thinking of each community we are indirectly degrading its custom. It all depends on ur upbringing n from person to person. Its wrong to point fingers on any topic towards a community as a whole. 😊

This is purely my opinon so please no one shud take it to heart. 😊

NRI thinking Vs Desi Thinking.

In recent times Indian culture and tradition has highly been influenced by bollywood/tellywood and this is where NRI and desi thinking try to meet with both sides having unrealistic expectations of the other.

It is funny how both think the land of the other as shopping paradise.😛

Both the populations are contaminated by the conceted.. There is no generalization in my book. I take the person by the way he behaves. I know shameful Indians and NRIs and also, respectworthy Indians and NRIs.

Very well said. At the end of it, it depends on the individual, and not merely his milieu.

I stay in Dubai, and half the population here are Indians. Some are orthodox, some are outgoing. Although after staying here for most of my life, I can't think of returning back to India for good. Perhaps NRIs lose out on an ounce of patriotism! 😊
