Two employee joinied the company at the same time.. One got promoted very soon while the other had to wait for years.. Both work for the same hours and produce the same output.. The only difference where it lies, is the presentation skills.. Employee A presented himself in such a way that he got noticed much before Employee B got his recognition.. But Employee B is equally talented as Employee A.. It also happens that one employee gets more than what he deserves just because of his presentation abilities..

So, what is important to survive in a company and get recognized?? The presentation skills or Hard work??

Is only presentation skills sufficient to get the success??

If one does not posses the presentation abilities but he is hard working, then is he not deprived of what he deserves??

If you are an employer, then what would you see in a person to give his due promotion??

Answer lies in the question:

Both do same work and produce same output but one has slightly better presentation skills. So definitely he is better than other and deserve a promotion.... also there are other factors....

I have to present different kinds of balance statements to different customers so that they can understand them.... the higher level managers dont have time to go through all your output but they would be impressed if you can produce the result in concise but complete information😊

Mr B: Sir here is the report (brings 10 pages report)

Manager: What shall I do with this 10 pages 😡

Mr B: Sir, Its all the customer balances u asked

Manager: Calls Mr. A

Mr A works on data bring it in tabular form with aging of customer balances plus overdue report fitted in 3 pages. Its the same data, same time but better presented....

Whom will you give promotion as employer?

Communication!!!!! without commuication none of it matters... Hard work only is never enough and not garuantee to sucess if one cannot present it any better or much differently and efficiently then the other person. Just like a student who is brilliant but does pooorly in exams, hardwork without presentation or communication skills will leave you behind others.

An employer sees credibility and reliability in an employee and you want to be that person employer thinks of first whenever a project or a problem needs to be taken care of.

Some amount of effor is required to get anywhere. If you are all talk and no work eventually people find out and cut you off. At the same time presentation skills are vital. One needs to have good communication skills, a easy going personality. You do not just need hard work, but present your work in a desirable manner.

Agree on that. My reaction after seeing the post was, 'well I love the first one'.
