Esteemed Friends!

In my school days I used to have a Mathematics teacher..who used to teach well but ....she is a variety species....She never used to laugh..never responded to the good morning..good evening wish of the students and colleagues...on the other hand we used to have a good Biology teacher ..who used to teach wonderfully and treat the students well like a Mother..she is one of my favourite teachers ....even now....

In later part of life..I found some colleagues / aquaintance ...who don't have the basic manners of responding to the wish we make...lol some don't even laugh.....

Coming to the emails part......some people read the mails..but don't respond...it's not that the mails sent are junk or the person reading them is some alien or superior creature..but they just don't respond...

Personal mails....don't bother much if we know a person..but professional mails do bother and irritate.....and that leads to communication gap...

Driving the point home:

Are there some basic manners like wishing people back when they wish? Are there any basic manners in professional /personal mails? How do you deal with the people who don't wish/respond to you ?

yes, a wish is always given back similar to smile.
these are basic manners inculcated in a human since he is a child. i think one of the few things which we learn as kids is to wish people who are our concerns and to return back their wish respectively...
anyone not wishing back in my perception is the one who conveys that he isnt social and wants to be left alone. I doubt if i would consider meeting him / her again.. that is the impression you form when u dont get a response for your wish. 🤢

Are there any basic manners in professional /personal mails?

there are absolutely certain basic manners applied to both kinds of mails.. but in case of personal mails u can have an informal behaviour. what all is written is in an informal manner .. such mails can be taken a little for granted when comes to sending a response.. they can be replied as per your wish and on your own sweet time the person on the recieving end will not wait for the response.....but as in the case of professional mail , You have to follow a basic set of rules...u have to be formal in your content , not use short forms and confuse the guy.. cant say "hi " and "cya"...there is absolutely a proffessional mannerism you better have to follow 😃 and a particular time to respond.. delay in responding neither gives them a chance to get back to you nor serves the need... ..Being careless with responding to proffessional matters is like killing your golden hen ....😕

How do you deal with the people who don't wish/respond to you ?

well as for my friends and relatives are concerned ---- i dont mind 😳.. they have all liberty to respond to my wishes or mails or any correspondence at their convenience,,,

as for some new guys or some old friend i contacted or someone whom i wished and showed interest and if he/she does not get back to me, i feel thats rude and try not to wish them again........it becomes an unsaid thank you very much 😕

Does the manners of a person affect the career and personal life of a person?

yes , Totally ----- with good manners u can not only be the lovey dovey person among your family but also impress your superiors and collegues at office...

good manners is one beautiful package ---- wishing others, helping others, speaking good, good habits , good thinking, all goodiness... 😃

so if you carry this goody bag , it is sure to affect your personal life and career in a bright way..... no doubt👏

at the end i wold say good manners are like your biodata, it tells about you 😃

Profnl mail 99% people keep manners,In Personal mails sometime they are in angry mood or busy like that, they not wish 'hello' or 'hi' just do reply the matter only......😳I think when we send mail to anyone we need to wish them....its feel good 😊.

How do you deal with the people who don't wish/respond to you ?

I dont mind.😊Cos If I wish someone i feel good,If anyone not ready to wish or not wishing you,we cant force them,its may be their style or manners...If we expect something then only prob...dont expect anything from anyone...Esply in this virtual world.😊

Yes, Our behavior/commitment/understanding with our partners or collegues or friends make us a good human being,If anyone wish you or critisize you, respond with smile, appriciate with smile you can win their heart....just think all are good, always dont try to judge people, then you dont have time to understand...I believe if you give little smile with unknown person or even enemy its feel good. I do lot of smile and talk with all its help me a lot...different place, different situations...be good with all ..cos all are good😊

Of course there are. I think there are certain manners which you should apply to both professional and personal mails. For professional mails it is like an impression that you're sending. If you've got no manners then you'd be losing out on a lot. Whether it's professional or personal basic manners are a must! Like you said, they can cause a communication gap between the 2 people or a bad impression.😊

How do you deal with the people who don't wish/respond to you ?

Well, it depends on how well i know them already. If it's like someone totally new then of course I'll definitly be forming a bad impression about them and i also may not want wish or talk to them again.

I think definitly it does. If your out to give an interview of yourself for the choice of career or job you wish to do and you don't have the basic manners that are required then most likely you won't be getting the job. So basically, that would be forming a bad impression of yourself right there. As for your personal life, manners could affect that as well. Maybe your good friends may not want to talk to you anymore. So that leaves a big communication gap between you and your loved ones. Which concludes that, basic manners are important in your life.. whether they're in your professional or personal life.😊
