Why are Indians Still 'Behind' ?

Few months before, the Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh proclaimed "India should follow China in it's pathsteps". For decades,though many consider India and China were eqiuvalent nations in terms of economy, culture and manpower, one cannot deny the truth
that China is already some thousand steps forward than India.
It has now been a slogan, the only slogan that india satisfies for itself. The slogan is - " We're Striving in the IT sector. Soon India is going to become A Superpower(?) Nation with It as it's weapon". But China, on the other hand has grasped all the available opportunities, used all
it's manpower equally on all sectors, restricted not Just to the IT sector.
It was the last summer I had been in China. When my foot made it's impression on the Chinese soil for the first time, all I had known as an Indian was that 'India and China share same level of standard in Economy, Politics and Morality'. But as I took my steps towards the Tiamen's
Square, I realised that for all these years my guess was absolutely Wrong!
The trains were regular, Buses were more frequent, Clean Roads, Controlled-Pollution and more importantly Corruption-Controlled Government. Sweepers are regular in streets every morning, every officer attends to his Job with proper care, every company bounds
itself strictly to the Governmental constitution. I did not knew who was their President or What were their ministers. But all that I felt was their people live happily and peacefully.
China was one of many countries that was extremely damaged in famine during the Communist Revolution before some years. It was such a period in which people were forced to eat cats and stray dogs, made to live in refugee camps in large numbers, suffered in winter cold and
with starving stomach. Today, the same people are being praised all over the World, for have transformed their poverty lands into a full fledged economic Zone without needing anyone's help. The hunger and pain produced by that famine could still be seen in the eyes of all Chinese people, as they still remember the difficulties their forefathers met in those times. But that 'pain' did not stop them from becoming the World's Largest Manufacturers of Almost 'Everything'.
On the other hand, it's neighbour- India, lies desperate by hanging America's tail in the guise of IT and Call Centres, and being subjected to a continuous stream of Poor and Poverty village by village. Ours is a country with the Largest number of HIV afftected persons in the World
with it's teenagers fastly adopting the hazardous Western culture without even knowing the consequences behind it. At this time, Our Government could do Nothing except to distribute 'Free Condoms'.
Corrupted Politics, Communal Violences, Sex Trafficking, Poverty, Disease and 'Call Centres'. These are the various designations that our Indian soil adopted through all these 60 years after independence from the British aggressors. Indian people and Chinese people differ in
many ways. They rather 'differed' since the last four decades. A country's progressiveness depends more on the people rather than it's leader. Indian people are frankly not more Patriotic unlike their Chinese neighbours who are more Patriotic & Linguistic. To undermine some basic differences between the Two neighbouring countries and their people, I went on a campign to personally meet and speak with people from both lands to know what they really are!
I started with some Young Indians. I asked an Indian - 'Who are you?". His answer was 'I'm a Hindu'. I asked him the same question again. He said that he 'is a brahmin'. I asked him again. He pulled his eyebrow up in pride and replied that he 'is a software Engineer'. I went on askig the same question again and again. He answered me almost all possible of his being. But till the end he did not answer me that 'He is an Indian'. In desperation, I met several other 'Indians(!)' like him. I heard the same frequencies in all their voices. No one really remembered to tell me that he is an India.
As an Indian, I was really sad that day that my brothers forgot that they are first 'Indians' even before they were 'Muslims' or 'Christians'. I took my journey further to see what Indians actually contribute to their country, though they forgot to tell me that they were Indians. I asked many Indians whether what they wish to become in future. Most of them said that they wish to become Software-Engineers. Some said 'Doctors'. A few preferred to become 'Business men'. I further asked them where would they wish to work. Nine out of Ten replied me that they would wish to work in America, Europe or Australia. Many shouted in pride that they already work in a company which is an American-Owned Indian company. Some Indians went a step forward and said that their 'aim is to get settled in America and to get American Green Card'. For a moment, they also made me remind the scene under the Gemini Bridge in Chennai where everyday my Indian brothers stand in queue like beggars to get their Visa okeyed by an American Embassy officer. I dont even think that even for our Independence day flag hosting they stood under that hot sun for such a long time.
As my patriotic eyes turned red in anger, I did not stop my campaign just with an interview. I started my argument against my Indian brothers to really understand why are they so much concerned about Working or Living in America or Europe rather to Live in Our Soil. My only claim was - " Why should We Indians Work for America, when they were born and grown up in this Soil of India?". The argument went at it's peak. They said that india is not giving enough money for them to be rich and for their children to eat in Gold food plates and sleep in High-Cushioned beds. Some even blamed India as not a proper land to expose their talents.
Though their claims could be justified to some extent, I could notice that they did not even had a minute trace of Patriotic feelings running through their (hypocritic) blood veins. I can really understand that a Young Indian may boil in anger on me if he reads this article. And for those angry young Indians, let me put a very simple question. Do you really respect your own language as much as you respect the alien- English language? If so, will you admit your child in a school where the medium of teaching in NOT english? Why to go such an Extent?? Do you really study your culture and language as you study the Western culture and their language?
If Microsoft Company calls you with a High Income and America gives you a green card, would you really throw their money and settle in India in your farmland?
For all my questions, an 'Indian' cannot really answer me. Even if he dares to answer, he will find that his answer is bluffed through irrelevant prideness, as a traitor towards patriotism. What is the meaning in proclaiming 'Jai Hind' when we are prepared to leave even our own country to work for an alien-dictator Nation?? Around 35% of our Indian brothers and sisters still live under the poverty line. They earn just 2 penny a day, they eat once in two days, they sleep near the garbage and they are hunger, uncared by anyone. Still, in the last two decades, I found many Indians migrated to America and other richie nations to make 'their' family rich. Let them be rich with the blessings of God. But what they contributed to their Indian brothers and sisters who die in poverty on their own soil? What did they contribute to the Indian Economy? Why they spend their Indian-sponsored education in a foreign soil, leaving India undeveloped still?
We born in India, we ate Her food, we drunk Her water, we breathed Her air, we had Her schoolings, we married Her woman, we had Her protection and even we claimed as 'Her Citizens' and Lived here enjoining all rights.But why did we not contribute anything to our Motherland inturn? On one side, Indians leave their own land to taste Western pork. On the Other hand,they Corrupt, make Violence and riots on their same land, putting the country in a total havoc.
We Indians left our land in the hands of Corrupted polititians and Terrorists. They inturn decide our country's fate. We consider our own brother as an enemy, and we jealous the victory of our own brother Indian. We divide ourself in the name of Religion, Race, Caste and Creed. We destroy Mosques which were once regarded as Ancient Monuments. We burn Churches and Bomb Temples. And we host a State-Sponsored communal riot in the name of 'Ram' (God). But still we say 'All Indians are Brothers and Sisters'. What an Irony!
My aim is not to critisize or tease your religions, or your castes, or your Gods. Your belief is your Rights. Truly, Religions are revealed by God to bring Peace. Religions should guide to green paths. Not towards Saffron Riots, Terrorism and Fascism. If your religion makes you are Fascist, then Christ , Mohamed and Shivan were also Fascists. But Why you choose a different way that your religion did not preach at all?? As an Indian, I have never seen an Indian Hindu practiscing Hinduism or an Indian Muslim practiscing Islam, or an Indian Christian Practiscing Christ or an Indian Communists practiscing Marxism. We all just practice Hatred, Hypocricy and Harming. By doing so, we left our Country in total Nightmare that we met in Gujrat, Punjab and Bombay. We produced terrorirts, we were also terrorised. On the other side, we Victimized our own brothers in Bhopal because of our Greediness for an 'American Owned' Nuclear Energy Station. We could not do Anything except to arrest an American officer and release him in 20 minuites. We lost our brothers in that disaster. We still face the consequences of it in Bhopal.
We build Mega Storage dams, Nuclear Reactors, Shopping Malls,Thousand of Universities. We sponsor millions of award for celebrities and Cinema Directors while our poor Teenagers do not even have money to study. Our Children beg in streets, Our sisters face discrimination in
streets, Our farmers suicide in thousands. But our Government is still discussing whether to Legalise Homosex marriages or Not! Our media, younger generations and the nation as a whole, is addict to Just one thing- 'CINEMA'. But have we ever realised what did we learnt in watching a movie in which an actress shakes her belly and ass for 3 hours?? Yes, we really learnt somethings in our 'Indian' cinemas- To make Love with a Girl, To date Her and to behave as much as a full fledged Playboy. And more recently, we also learn from our Indian Cinema that 'All Muslims are Terrorists'.
We DO have many Industries, We do own Agriculture and We ARE infact World's largest Software Producers.But Why our country looks likewhat it was before decades?Why are we still lagging behind Chinese who were once more poor than us? Why still our Nation starves in
poverty? Why Our Children still beg in Streets? Why our Infrastructure remained as it was in the ancient times? I can justify the cause with 2 important reasons.
Firstly, Most of our Industries and Companies are NOT 'Ours'. They are the MNC's (Multi National Corporations) of mainly America or Europe. Their aim to Establish their Industries in India is NOT to improve our Economic situation and to relieve our poors from Poverty. They rather
established their Industries to find 'Cheap' labours who are 'Indians'. The West understood that 'Indian Lives' are same as that of machines in Mill Factories. They pour more fuel (more money) to them as long as the mechines (Indians) work well. They throw them in garbage soon after they get damaged. Because they know that the cost of repairing these machines are NOT really worth even the total price of these machines could make inturn (The cost of an 'Indian Life' does not even worth the money he earns for himself). By saying 'Cheap' labours, they also mean that Our Country is 'Cheap' compared with them. Some Indians Do think that we are making Toys. But the fact is that we are JUST fitting the parts of the toys that are already manufactured by 'our' American Landlords. It is time for us to necessarily realise that
We are NOT doing any Invention or Revolution. We are Just working as maids for American and European MNCs. Ultimately, we Indians did NOTHING for Our Country. We did everything for them. They take everything from us. We did not have anything in our hands for our
generations and we only hope that America will also help our childrens with many IT industries and Green Cards.
I know that many pro-american IT Engineers or American-settled Indian 'beggars' will defenitely have many things to argue against this article. They may tell you - 'NO! India does not stands on America's help. It is an Independent Nation. Only Americans need India's help. India is much forward towards it's path to become a Super Power Nation. India can stand on it's own feet, etc etc'. To these Pro-American money-greedy traitors, I want to ask few questions:
1. If India no more needs USA's support and can stand on it's own feet, why India has still not openly condemned the US Foreign policies and it's Human Rights Attrocities around th World?
2. Why should Indian allow the arrival of President Bush even after the whole Nation and people were against his arrival in India?
3. If India 'trickly' escapes by saying that it does not interfere on other country's foreign and military policies, why must it allow Israeli Militaries to conduct a Joint Work to fight against our Kashmiri brothers? (So does it contrarily means that Others can interfere in our foreign politics and internal issues??). If Indian military could not survive the so called Kashmiri 'Terrorists' and they call Israeli Militaries for help, how can one say that India is Independent?
My questions are not just the above three. I have several. I stop with that because my aim is not to make this article much bigger. Last week the US War ship Nimitz arrived in India. It was responsible for the Killings of thousands of Children, Women and innocent men in Iraq and Afganistan. But still it arrived in the Chennai Port. USA also said that it arrived not in it's request. It was rather India's 'Invitation'. Great! Our country 'Invites' a Killer Ship! We Indians demonstrated. But did Nimitz not reach Chennai ? It did. When a woman journalist asked Indian Prime Minister 3 days after the arrival of NIMITZ whether why India allowed Nimitz, the 'Prime' Minister(?) seriously replied "I did not even know about Nimitz before the news was Published in the Newspapers". We Indians read the news, but we did not care about what our PM said. The most powerful position in India is for the Prime Minister. This Prime Minister replies funnily that he himself came to know about Nimitz only after reading news! THIS IS INDIA!
The truth is that India dares NOT to raise it's voice against USA! In General ' A Servant will NOT raise his voice against his Master'. Though we are angry on this fact, this is true which no one can deny. Yes, we are now servents for Americans. We are Indians, but in other words-
'American Made Indian Servants'. Did Gandhi, Tippu Sulthan and Bose fought their whole Lives to see this 'Slavery' in India. Our Soil is the Soil of Bravery. We produced the Best Army , We produced the Best poets, We produced the Best saints, We produced Best Warriors. But why today we are Worst among 'Worst Cowards'? If we don't even have guts to express our opposition against the Massacre that is being carried out by our Landlords(Americans), then are we not cowards? If an Indian really starts thinking the truth, he will never celebrate Independence Day hereafter. Because we are NOT really Independent.
Secondly, We Indians lost FAITH in ourself. We prefer foreign-made perfumes rather than Indian made Body talcums. We aim for 'Sex' Call-centre Jobs than to do farming in our own lands. We prefer American 'Green Cards' than our Indian ' Ration Cards'. More importantly, we started preferring American and European Culture, neglecting and disgracing our own culture. We hate our forefather's traditions, We hate our culture that thought dignity between men and women, We hate our mother-languages and consider them Obsessed compared with English. In a Nutshell, we lost faith in Ourselves. Even if we have a few reputed Indian own industries, they sell five-penny tooth paste for fifty penny! They are not concerned with providing consumer products for us in cheaper rates. They JUST are concerned with 'Money', looting our poor people and suppressing them more and more. With our own money, we ultimately have created some ten Dhirubai Ambanis who celebrate their Honey-moons in Switzerland and spend million dollars for their family Marriages in France!
We were looted, exploited! The Western Aggressors and their Puppets (Indian Rich Warlords) did really Nothing except to loot and corrupt our people's money and blood, while they sleep with their skin sponged in airy beds and arms glittered with Rado Watches! Still, we Indians respect America and Europe. We need their Culture and their Way of Living. We sold our Doctors and Engineers to America. We sold our Industries and factories to America (As we did in the case of Neiveli Lignite Industry). And now, we are also selling our culture and respect to America by introducing 'Sex Education' for 11 year old school students, teaching them about oral sex and to wear condoms! We did not have a subject like 'Morality' in our schools. But today we have a subject 'Exclusively to learn and feel Sex'! Rather to educate our children about the Hazardness of Homosex, we preach that 'Homosex' is also another way of sex! We distribute free condoms to prevent AIDS, rather to stop our people from fornication.
Our former president Abdul Kalam asked our young generations to Dream! Yes, we dream! We dreamt even before Our President asked us to dream! We did Nothing except dreaming. We are dreaming even now that we are also a country like America. But it does not seems like our dreams are really true! We dreamt, and left our countries in the hands of Corrupted Polititians and Sex Ministers!
Our parents aimed Just to educate us on Engineering and Surgery. They did not aim to educate us morally or politically. Because they did not have faith even on their Own Child that he will one day become an honest Minister in the Indian Parliments, out of all corrupted Chameleons! Our parents, like all other Indians, are just concerned with 'Money'. They are not considered with Justice and Moral revolution. But the irony is that, our parents think just about the lives of their two children, while the lives of thousand other children who live in streets are really in a question mark! Our parents must realise the need to Make Revolutionalists! If there was No Mahatma Gandhi, would we have got Independence? If there were no Mahaa Kavi Baarathi, would there had been a Tamil- Independence Revolution ever made possible? When Baarathi left his home for months, in order for freedom struggle and when met his wife Kannammaa after a long period of time, his wife told him that their two daughters die in hunger with NO food. Do anyone know what Baarathi replied? Baarathi replied - "Let them Die. There are many children who died in this Revolution. Why should I consider My Children's Life more important than theirs?". Imagine if Baarathi was sentiment towards his wife and sat in his home, without taking part in any struggle! Would there had been a struggle? But today, we neglected Politics. Educated minds of our society are in a 'hunger' for money! If they have a bike, They want to get a car. If they have a Car, they want to buld a home. If they have a home, they want to build another few houses for their children's future. If they earn good in India, they want to get settled in America. But there educated minds have every really realised that It is their duty to trasform this corruption-prone country into a move standard and Civilized one? They did not think, because they don't have any care for their nation! All they want is - MONEY!
After Analysing the root cause for the failure of India and Indians, I went into studying how China improved to this extent. The reason for why i chose 'China' to compare with India is that, in the past, China and India shareed many things in common - Their economy, Population and also their Culture. But today, baring not even a single Industry, China has entered the trade in a full fledged faith. They are now World's largest manufacturers of almost 'Everything', World's greatest Tourist Attraction, World's best Food producers! In short, they are the World's best in Everything (Though America claims that Title).unlike America,China can stand on it's own leg! But America cannot stand without Chinese market. Americans are DEPENDENT on Chinese! China is the Largest trader to America for almost all goods. Today, whatever product I see, I could find in it "Made in China". Do you not? Who are these Chinese? They are the same Chinese who were 'refugees' on their own land before 40 years! They ate insects and leaves to survive during the times of famine. They were bombarded by Japanese Fascists. But they did not beg for survival from America or Europe! They, till this day, stood in their own foot. They prepared their country as a country that would one day going to rule this World! They made now, and still are making it more shining- CHINA, the New Revolution of this Century!
With not even the 2008 Beijing Olympics arrived, Chinese American Dollar had already met it's lowest tally against the Chinese RMB before 2 years! With China growing on it's feet, Americans could really do nothing to stop them, except to watch this 'Economic Chinese Revolution' with their fingers on nose! But still, Americans tried several ways to stop China from being developed. The first such case came when American media propagated the disease SARS and damaged the Chinese economy! But America was not so much successfull in doing that. It was 2004 when this SARS affected China! Hardly within some 2 people died, American Media broadcasted SARS as the Killer disease of the Century, preventing Tourists and Business-Men from visiting China! But in 2 months, China got back on it's seat. It came to realise what American threat really is! If someone says that SARS itself is an American bio weapon, it could no more be considered a myth. When America used thousands of it's Bio Weapons against Cuba, why not it use a single Bio Weapon against China, who are their REAL enemy!!?
Today, America preaches to the World, along with Japan, that China's growing Military bases in East China may be a threat to Japan and Asia in turn. It also accused China of finding Chinese-made weapons in Iraq and Afganistan! Today, America does all it's possible work to STOP China from Acquiring a permanent Member seat in Security council of UNO, thereby preventing VETO from Chinese hand. But American conspiracy restricted China just from moving around the campus of UNO office, but not in the land and sea of this Earth!
China are NOT cowards like Indians towards America. China has been an active critic against the American Foreign Policy in Afganistan and Iraq. Though it's largest buyer is USA, it did not fear to speak against USA! If I must frankly tell you, I'm in one way a critic against China for some of it's Government policies! It's policies towards the ethnic Eughur Community of Xinxiang, where it kills and detains several innocent Eughur people naming them 'terrorists' are things to be brought to a severe critisization. China has crossed many Human Rights Violations against these communities in the Western China. Speaking precisely, China must give the Xinxiang(the then East Turkistan) region to the Eughurs which was invaded during the time of Mao's Communist Revolution. China is now being accused because of Mao's criminal conspiracy! China's policies towards 'Population Control' is also a matter that is a severe Human Right violations!
But Chinese people NEVER supported their Governmental plans of detaining Eughur people. Chinese people had been more open minded, affectionate and brotherly nature. Especially the people from North China, are more kind towards anyone. Most of the Chinese are Anti-Americans. They hate America's culture that spreads 'Casual Sex'. They oppose American dominance that left thhis World 'Unpeaceful'. Chinese people are more patriotic than ANY Indian patriot! If we ask a Chinese whether who he is, he will reply in some milli seconds that He is a Chinese! He never replies that 'He is a Software Engineer' or 'A Christian'.
I met poor Chinese farmersto Multimillion business men. Everyone prodly shouted that they were 'Chinese'! Their rich people are not really fond of getting settled in America and to beg for their Green-Card. In 2004, in a Documentary that was released, it was found that even those few Chinese who left for other countries don't feel good and returned back to their country. Because they felt that earining for other nations is like earning for Aliens. While our own brothers suffer without food, what is the real need to earn for a superpower nation? I approached many Chinese to ask what their fathers were. Many replied with a pride smile that they are 'Farmers'. Will an Indian Youth working in a Software company will really say the truth if his father was really a farmer?
I've even seen some schools in India who refused to admit students whose parents were NOT educated! In such a case, how come a Indian Youth agree that his father is a farmer? There are poors even in China. But they are NOT sad. All these poors and rich do not have any seperate religion for themselves. They follow just only one religion. And that religion has no name. When I returned back from China after few months, I named that religion as the Religion of 'Brotherhood and Unity'. Some pro-american may comment on me saying that I exaggerated Chinese more. But it is not really exaggeration. I have reasons to justify my opinion. I gave 2 credits to their religion- 'Brotherhood' and 'Unity'. Because, the Chinese did not leave their poor brothers in China and fly to America to earn for their family alone! They did not considered their fellow Chinese oppressed to an American! They were 'United' even during the times of Famines and Wars and 'Died' together. They are united even now and 'Live' together. They respect their mother-language. Because they are not INDIANS! They respect their culture, their tradition and their soil. Even if they adapt an alien culture to some extent, they NEVER irrespected their own culture. But we Indians do!
Their Industries produce more, sell more, but in cheap rates! They dont sell a five-penny toothpaste for fifty penny like our Indian Industries do! They consider the Welfare of their people,they sell at cheap rates, they produce more and obviously they give more jobs to
their people. Everyone of you know that Chinese products are cheap! Some of us usually are involved in critisizing Chinese products as Low Quality and Guarantee-less! If a Chinese protect is damaged in One year, it is being critisized. But if an European product is being guaranteed for One Year time period, it is not being critisized! If one thinks logically, the probability of both these products to be survived is JUST one year! No Nokia Mobile will be replaced if they show problems after one year. In such a case, how can we critisize a Chinese products which NEVER was given a guarantee, but still works more than one year???
But still, Chinese people are fond of Chinese products. They prefer their own Mobile than to prefer Nokia or Motorolla. They prefer thei perfum, their dress, their shoes and their Culture. They TRUST on their work. A Chinese man knows to neglect Chinese product and go for others. But he does not do so. Why? Because he knows that his country's product is no more waste compared with a foreign product. But if we Indians are given a foreign Soap and an Indian soap, we obviously prefer the foreign one. Because in our mind, we always printed that our INDIAN products are always Cheaper and Quality-less than the products of our Landlords(Americans and Europeans).
