**Conscience - Does it Get In Your Way?**

hey everyone😃

how are you? am posting here after a long lnog tym😳

anyways, something crept up in my mind. there is a saying, well not a actual saying, but anyways, there is saying that conscience gets in the way when you are about to do something wrong.

but the question is that true?

when you are about to do something wrong and you knoa its wrong, does your conscience get in your way? does it stop you to proceed with the wrong deed? because if the saying and the teaching is right then why do people do so many bad and harmful things?

im my opnion, we do have a conscience - because when we do something wrong knowingly, something inside us tells us not to because we hesitate to do it...and that something, i beileve is our conscience. but if it does exists, then why do so many people so so many bad and horrific things? is it because their other beliefs/teachings/thoughts overshadow the power of their conscience?

Yes indeed our consciousness always interrupts us.
What i feel is each and evry person has his/her conscious or antarman in action b4 he / she does a bad deed or a good deed!!!
But i feel our conscious is two sided.It doesnt exactly tell us what is right and what is wrong.So many people 'coz they havee two views they end up taking any one choosing it according to their wish.
Murders and all yes for a second they might think,yes wat m gonna do is wrong.But for the othr second the same consciouse tells him Kill him coz its for ur goood only.

What i say is its all dependent on the person.Every body knows wat to do and what not to do.all of us know the consequenses of our evry act also. 😳

I believe concience does get in your way for alot of things you do.But it depends on the person thinking what is right and what is wrong 😃

Great topic. Conscious is within us that tells us what's right and what's wrong. I believe even the world's top criminals have a conscious but some become cruel and hard-hearted. We have seen people Confess even after many years of doing a horrific deed.

Religion should not be brought here but in some religion you can Confess to your sins and then are told what you have to do to repent and correct your sins. Kind of purifying yourself.

I think there is a Ying and a Yang within all of us i.e. we feel doing something is good yet part of us may coax us to do something bad. The good and evil both within us. A lot of times our good conscious takes over and makes us see the right........ or we would be doing things that are not within the norm and sitting in some jail😆
