i can live without a cellphone cause i don't have one 😭 i will get one soon....i think it depends on how many frnds u have n how much u communicate....if u have lots of frnds n u know lots of people then u'll want to talk to them if they don't live near u....u'll obviously need a cellphone to talk to them...somepeople just buy one to show off n they don't even have that many contacts 😆 ....my dad has probably more than 60 contacts....he needs a cellphone but the people who drive rikshaw in india don't really need one....i went to india, punjab last year n i saw that everyone who drives a rikshaw has a cell phone for sure....i can bet...they don't need one n i don't know where they pay their bills frm cause they don't even earn that much money 😕 ...cellphones r not necessary for people that in the age of 10 to 15 cause i think more older people have some needs n they need a cellphone for lots of reasons that r important

forget rickshaws, i heard that people who work in farms have cell phones 😆 😆 😆 that sounded so funny but may be its a need for them, may be they are calling companies asking them to supply fertilizers or who knows 😆 😆 😆

i used to have the same question when i would see kids in school having cell phones. one time i complained to my friend asking her if these kids really need cell phones and gadgets to be brought in school? she told me, its every where now even in schools in india. she told me how it was published in the news paper about the hype of these electronics in schools over there. so i guess its a global matter now 😆 😆 😆 before, i would get irritated with small kids getting cell phones unnecessarily. but actually this question would have been valid few years ago. but now my take on this have totally change since last few years. reason being working parents sometimes have to leave their kids alone at home after these kids come from school. and looking at some strange incidents happening with kids these days, its necessary for the parents to give their kids a cell phone to keep a tab on them. now i wouldnt really question it becoz it is necessary somehow however i dont recommend toddlers to have cell phones. i have heard how even toddlers try to imitate olders about talking on cell phone and throw tantrums on having the real cell phone 🤢 🤢 🤢 however, my complain is about people bringing cell phones to place where its not necessary such as theatres, school classrooms and other such important places where it can distract others. actually its not even about bringing it to such places, but they can at least turn it off 😆 😆 😆 thats really irritating. cut your coat within cloth. so if its a necessity to get it, its fine but just buying to show off 😕 doesnt make sense, by the way who are these people trying to show off? 😕 😕 😕

One of my friend's cousin studies in some posh school in Mumbai. She was entering first grade and she received a circular notice on the first day that cell phones are not yet allowed for these children. Apparently, this made the kids very sad. 😕

true framers do have cell phones.. well i was born in a village...but i haven't gone back to India for a long time....but my parents go once in two years and they say that even if a framer is going 20 ft away he'll take his phone......and I do believe that richshaw people don't need a phone.....

I've also heard that since there are soo many cell phones, the birds in Indian states, such as punjab, are dying off cause of the cell phone waves.....

The most easiest way to catch your rickshawallah when you are late for a meeting is call him on his cell phone. It is the most important mode of communication, particularly for those who are constantly on the move and for those, whose clients would need to get in touch with them urgently.

A is late for work, calls rickshawallah x to come to the house. X is busy, calls up Y to reach the spot. A reaches the station in time to take the train.

Cell phone is most useful 😊

There are private rickshawallahs these days? 😕 I did not know that rickshawallas give out their numbers to passengers to call them when need be.. This happens?

By the way, I agree with cell phones being useful. I have no qualms over people in farms and lahris having cell phones. If they can afford it, then why not? But, I don't see why a 6-7 year old needs a cell phone? It's not like you are going to leave them alone that you need to keep a tab on them. 😕
