Raj, are you complaining about UNSOLICITATED advice ?
Why would one go to the doctor / the shrink / financial advicer and not want their advice? 😆

No! I am saying why qualify for advise when not followed by adviser. 😛

What about Parents who ask their children to do things they couldnt?
Study more, work harder...

that is all good intention...cannot be called immoral... 😛

In this argument I don't have an answer to WHY? I just think it is not immoral. It is just a good advise for someone's betterment. Someone who went to these people for advise.

It looks like unwarranted preaching when someone with no relation out of blue starts advising you on what and what not to do.

Parents and kids different issues, yet not justifiable, but here am saying ideal person who is qualified to give advise on heathy living, tells pupils not to drink after 2 large shots is immoral.😆 Even parents change themselves for kids.. separate discussion.

"It looks like unwarranted preaching when someone with no relation out of blue starts advising you on what and what not to do. " - right no one qualified him/her to seek advise from, only saying is a pro in his/her field and preaches what he/she doesn't follow is .

Why couldn't parents set in example in first place? Anyways am talking about pros .. parent / child lot of factors come in place.😊

if you don't listen, whose potentil loss is that raj? doc will be fat and shrink may be divorced.. and they kind of don;t need you to listen to them anyway!😆 They got their money and are happy :)
can u guarantee a slim doctor can give a better health adv? and does a seemingly happily married relationship expert qualify better? what if she is clueless of her husband cheating on her? a hypoth situation 😛..
their reputation and their success in proviing their service defines their credibility. Judging them otherwise is immoral i say, not their advice..

True manju @ the underlined! I forgot to make that point myself.
The doctor may have hypothyroid problem, the psychologist may have had a cheating husband.. That's my only concern.

when someone tells you not to get angry and yell at someone, yet they act completely out of wack when they are angry .. now that's unacceptable - especially when they distribute unasked for advise.

But a doctor bing overweight himself doesn't make him immoral to be recommendign diet and exercise regime. his knowledge of metabolism is what makes him credible.
