Do you want 69% reservations all over India 😡 ......

I think none of political persons should be President. I would have named Amartya Sen as president.... as he has a lot of respect internationally.... Jayalalitha ko to India me koi respect nahi karta.... bahar kya khak karenge

That statement of urs is completely offensive sorry, what does it mean when u say u dont want a president from tamil nadu. I think u need to get ur facts cjecked, jpj abdul Kalam , the honorable president is from a village in Tamil Nadu.

plz dont make such foolish statements that offends many. People of Tamil Nadu are very much part fo India and speaking of Jayalaliotha, she is extremely well educated ( she was state first in her 10th from karnataka), she has amazing will power , she could be a good prime minister. As for corruption, yes she was corrupted but ever since then she has maintained a clean record and tell me who is not corrupted .....................

I was deeply offended when u said " we dont want anyone from Tamil Nadu"

Kalam bows to people's love, open to second term

New Delhi: President APJ Abdul Kalam has finally bowed in the face of overwhelming public love and support for him and agreed to take up the post of President for another term. The President has a condition though, that there has to be certainty before he says yes to join the race.

"As there is overwhelming love from people from across the country, I am willing to go for a second term if there is certainity. However, I am willing to wait for a few days," President Kalam told a delegation of Third Front leaders on Wednesday when they called on him to persuade the former nuclear scientist to join the race.

After days of media speculation about Kalam's reluctance to take up the post for a second term, the President finally made his stand clear when leaders of the Third Front called on him to persuade him to seek a second term in the top post.

Kalam is ready for a second term "if there is certainty," Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief Chandrababu Naidu was quoted by PTI as saying after the meeting.

Asked to elaborate what he meant by certainty, Naidu said: "Your draw your own conclusions. It includes everything."

While political pundits were still trying to read between the lines to draw inference from these words, some tried to interpret the words and say that Kalam is indeed willing to continue if there is political consensus around his name.

This, however, looks a distant possibility now considering the fact that the UPA-Left combine has already started the process of fielding Pratibha Patil for the election.

Buoyed by Kalam's positive response, the UNPA immediately launched a campaign, reaching out to both the NDA and UPA camps in an effort to build consensus in support of Kalam.

Top UNPA leader and TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu even approached Sonia Gandhi asking support for Kalam. The UPA chairman, however, is believed to have declined the appeal. Naidu, however, is likely to hold a second round of meeting with Sonia Gandhi sometime soon.

The UNPA leaders also called on former prime minister and senior BJP leader Atal Behari Vajpayee, asking his for support on Kalam. Vajpayee is believed to have told the Third Front leaders that he wants all attempts to be made in favour of Kalam's nomination.

I did nt say they are not part of India or they are not intelligent... sorry if u are offended..... but I dont want any person who likes to have 69% reservations and still offer separate quotas to Muslims and Christians if the supreme court case against 69% reservation goes well and divide the country.....

from my siggy and AV u might be knowing why I said that..... but I am sorry my wordings were probably not right.... but people who know me knows what i wanted to convey😃

well for one, its Karunanidhi who made such baseless quotas and not Jayalalitha. As for the quotas for Chriatians and Muslims, it wasnt suggested by a politician from TN . Karunanidhi was instrumental for separate reservations for sc/st but he didnt initiate the chriatian, muslim reservation.

Jayalalitha wasnt part of it.

well apologies accepted , but then ur statement was too extreme, the first line itself says spare India , who wants a president from TN

anyway , as for the topic , I would say she would def make a better prime minister coz of her education and inteligence. Atleast better that the uneducated ones

yep but she continued with reservations in her leadership..... its everything to do with votes... and its Karunanidhi who promised separate quote for muslims and christians just few months back if the court favours the decision to TN government for the current case.....

Spare India was only for Jayalalitha.... she has enough things against her to be in prime position of India.... for the reasons I already stated.... we need a person who has international respect should be in prime positions..... and she does nt have respect even inside India amongst many people from India...😊

but why only for her , its as if she is the only politician who is corrupted, all the others are clean and dhoodh ka dhula, laloo is the central railway miniter, Sonia gandhi who is part of bofors case with quotracchi is ruling the nation, deve gowda was the prime minister of India.

Atleast she is well educated, literare, state rank holder....... she was convicted when karunanidhi was in rule, one very well knows what he can do and what he would do .

amongst politicians ,she could be a good candidate only coz she could represent India very well with her education . I would prefer her than many of the other politicians for sure.
