Charity is unbiased, right? But is it fair to be involved in charity cause in foreign nations rather then one's own country?

Reason I asked there are many friends doing charity in Vietnam orphanges etc, but kids in thier own country suffering.

True... Should one focus on providing food shelter to one's country mates then focusing on it as global effort? Does today's human race think above biasing, understanding the fact after all same red blood running in humans?..

don't mind my questions.. just elaborating on topic.

I feel sometimes compassion runs much higher for the distant poverty..Mystery makes one feel they are doing much more then they are actually doing it. When Angelina Jolie, Madonna adopted African or oriental kids or Oprah opened schools in S.Africa , americans were asking the same question.

My view on this was mixed but Lighty's argument seems convincing. 👏

I think Charity should be done wherever people need it buit we can't do all so I have my priorities. In my opinion :

First comes where I earn money as my belief is I should give back where I earned the money.

Second comes where I am born as I do owe to return back the place I am born.

After that anywhere I can afford to and may be more to places where govt. focus less and they need more.
