I was in my relations class today and we were discussing abortions and etc. And I realized how hypocritical how society is. Its legal for person too have an abortion up to the last day before her delivery date. Doctors don't advise it, but its legal and people have done it. Yet, then mothers with new born babies that are like a few weeks old, throw them out the window or leave them in a garbage dump out by the train station, and are sent to jail.

I mean, to me that seems hypocritical that you can let go of the child a day before its born (when it's a fully born baby already) but you get sent to jail for leaving your 2 month old in the dumpster.

So just something to ponder on, your views and what you think of our "just laws".

If I'm breaking a rule or if it's been discussed already i'm sorry, i dont visit this place much, MODS can close it😳

It would be cruel to bring a baby into this world just because it is cute and small, if all you have to offer him/her is rejection and humiliation.
Yes , it is a shame that the option is also often used as remedy to the aftermath of reckless lifestyle. However it is a bigger crime to give life and not nurture it.

I am almost scared to threaten the staunch moral fibre here, but may I ask , what might be your suggestion to the the sex workers who 'cant keep their legs closed' (ugh, I shudder at that expression).
Should they too unburden their righteousness onto an innocent child?

you wanna be moral police here...then be my guest...my stand is still the same. when i wrote my post above, i was not referring to sex workers in particular but it ws a general statemnt. the sex workers also know the basics to avoid unwanted pregnancies and stds as well. if some one can't "that shuddered expression" then at least use various preventive measures so freely available. that's all I am trying to say here. I am all for absitenece/prevention than aborting because of carelessnss. now, if we are talking about health issue of either fetus or mom...then it is a different scene all together

just like you shuddered at that expression i used.....i shudder at the mere mention of slaughtering unborn babies b/c mom was not careful enough😊

Mist when I agreed with GD on her post & statement of "Can't keep their legs closed" was on general term not specific to sex workers at all. Please read it with patience so there is no misunderstandings. Solution to unwanted pregnacy is to use any type of birthcontrol or abstinance IMHO. That is better than getting pregnant and having to make 2nd choice of whether to have baby or not.

Bringing in the world unwanted innocent child is not fair at all to the kid.

Peace!!
