BJP might have distanced itself from her statement on mumbai for election reasons... but that's just one aspect in the totality of everything she's said that do find support- nepotism being one issue.

if are you talking about the BJP there, then you are wrong. IMF and others project India as the brightest spot when it comes to big countries on economic growth rates. So that was a pretty cuckoo thing for you to say😉

as for democracy ratings, the left wing bias in certain rankings is apparent to a lot of people, even if not you.
