It's a saddening experience to go through the review thread of "The Kashmir Files"...yet I think, it is worth a read...one will find posts that bring other examples of crimes against humanity longtime brushed under a carpet (not only political reasons!).

Still I regret it when the dealing with crimes against humanity are politically exploited...and this is something I reproach the filmmakers and the PM/home minister with.

If you declare something as Naziesque, honestly very difficult to take your argument seriously.

Isn't this an A- Rated film? How are kids being allowed inside theatres? I have seen kids in many such videos.

Spreading misinformation especially of hatred should be a crime in digital world. Birbhum Hindus alone are not getting killed. The family was of a Sheikh/Seikh where 7 people died. How do you know they are hindus or muslims when no one could even properly identify things yet ? Are you in Rampurhat right now ?

Honestly I'd accept that the movie was just propaganda if what was shown was fake...

But the fact is, all these horrific things shown in the movie (the torture, rape, etc.) are proven to have actually happened to real people at that time there, as uncomfortable as that may be for people to accept.

You can't call a movie showing the truth as propaganda, much less compare it to Nazism...

The only people here who deserve to be placed in the same category as Nazis are the culprits who actually committed the atrocities depicted in the movie.

And it's the ones who support/sympathise with the groups involved in those disgusting and horrifying acts who need to self reflect and reconsider their views, not anyone else.

Though that said, showing anger on random Muslims after seeing the film is just immature, unfair and wrong on all levels. Acting like that just damages the cause, and it's *exactly* what the opposition and their media want rn.
