Let me explain - if you "predict" right before the Oscars, either on the day of the Oscars or a day before the Oscars, it's not *that* creditable, in the sense, other award shows such as Golden Globes would have already happened plus one too many movie buffs too would have made their predictions by then, rendering your prediction not "distinct".
