I feel Wani's death was just a trigger for Kashmiri unrest. Asal baat yeh hein ki, they are not able withstand BJP in their government. But Jammu guys also have as much say as Kashmir in government formation.
Kashmiri people are full of double standards. They say, India does not care for Kashmiri's aspiration. In their house, they don't care for Jammu people's aspiration. They say, Pakistan side of Kashmir is so peaceful unlike Indian side of Kashmir. They don't mention, Jammu is also peaceful.
The other regions are peaceful because, people there don't take up guns or stone their own shops.

If Kashmiris keep suppressing Jammu's feeling, one day they will loose control over J&K region. That's what Pakistani Panjabis did for Bengalis (today's Bangladesh). In 1970s, Bengal party (Awami league) got the majority in Pakistan. But Panjabis could not tolerate a Bengal PM. They cancelled the whole election. Angry Bengalis fought and created Bangladesh.

It is better for the Kashmiris to respect Jammu and Ladakh people's sentiment and accept BJP, rather than calling PDP as a traitor.

some strategy which can be implemented on the economic front , I never knew we were importing cement from neighbors without any customs duty

---------------------------------------------------------

Swamy seeks ban on cement import from Pakistan

He said the import of cement without levy of customs duty was introduced in 2007 to augment supply in view of high demand.

Press Trust of India

New Delhi, Publish Date: Oct 6 2016 12:52AM | Updated Date: Oct 6 2016 12:52AM

Amid rising Indo-Pak tension, BJP leader and Rajya Sabha MP Subramanian Swamy has urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to ban import of cement from Pakistan in the interest of domestic industry and national security.

"I request you to ban import of cement into the country not only in the interest of growth and sustenance of domestic cement industry but also in keeping with the imperatives of national security. Ban of import from Pakistan will be in the interest of the country's security in the present juncture," Swamy said in a letter to Modi.

He said the import of cement without levy of customs duty was introduced in 2007 to augment supply in view of high demand.

He said the situation has since changed and the domestic industry has added a lot of capacity which is not being utilised, with around 116 million tonnes cement capacity lying idle due to stagnating demand in the country.

He also referred to reports of "recovery of drugs like heroin and fake Indian currency notes concealed in cement bags imported from Pakistan."

"Allowing imports of cement from Pakistan, therefore, carried with it the additional risk in that it provides an effective cover for smuggling of contraband goods and harmful weapons and ammunition concealed in cement bags which comes in rakes and trucks, in the hands of disruptionist elements," he said.

In YHM, Ishita's MIL was a Pakistani but now she is a British citizen. She was asked about the current issue and she said that she loves Pakistan and is sad to see Pak artists are being banned. She said that if any camp from Pakistan is involved in this attack, please stop doing it as innocent artists are facing the consequences and it makes Pakistani citizens suffer too.

Indian Muslim who trained with #ISIS returns to India to carry out 'lone wolf' jihadi terrorism, but is arrested. If 31-year-old Subahani Haja Moideen+ , trained by IS's military wing for three months, had his way, he would have been the first "lone wolf" attacker in India.

Prior to Moideen's arrest, West Bengal-based Mohammad Masiuddin, alias Abu Musa+ , was the only would-be "lone wolf" arrested by Indian agencies. Musa had tried to carry out solo attacks in Srinagar and Kolkata but failed.

According to top sources in intelligence agencies, Moideen, arrested by the NIA on Wednesday from Tamil Nadu, had been a lone operator since his return to India last September and was in regular touch with his Islamic State handlers, discussing over the Internet what kind of attack he should carry out.

"He followed all ISIS activities around the world and would study the modus operandi of other lone wolf attackers. He remained unnoticed for a long time because he was operating alone. It's only a few months ago that his activities came on our radar. He could have proved very dangerous as he was trained in everything," said an official.

It is only recently that Moideen decided to join hands with members of the newly formed Kerala module+ of the IS, sources said.

Officials said Moideen has a vast knowledge of computers and may have used the Internet extensively to give shape to his plans.

Meanwhile, counter-terrorism experts see Moideen's return from the ISIS war zone as a good sign as it is another attestation of the fact that it is not an easy life for those travelling to IS territory to fight for the so-called caliphate.

Moideen has told the NIA that "he couldn't stand so much violence" and wanted to leave the organisation. He claimed he had been jailed for 40 days despite a bad knee injury. Before him, another Indian fighter for the terror organisation, Areeb Majeed+ , found it difficult to stomach the feeling that they were being treated as second- and third-class fighters by the ISIS.

"Their bubble of living in an area ruled according to the Sharia bursts very quickly as there is nothing Islamic about the violent activities of Islamic State. Recruits are punished for even small mistakes, or if they try to defy IS," said a senior government official.

In the past, too, it has been seen that fighters from the UK, US and mainland Europe who left in 2013-14 have returned to their homes utterly dejected because of the manner in which the ISIS had treated them; they were forced to recite Quranic verses as proof of loyalty, were made to abuse women and made to kill co-fighters even for small infractions.

"And when they try to escape, they are killed by IS," said an official, adding that when they return home, the agencies are anyway waiting for them.
