As we look back on the year, did we really appreciate what we got? Are people really grateful in this day and age? I would love to hear your thoughts on this! 😉😊

We're always grateful for a newly added good change to our lives. And we continue to be till it's old and routine. Habituation comes at the cost of sensitivity. We're wired that way, can't change that. So realization ain't bound to strike in such desensitized situations unless conditioned with loss/fear/gain/rewards/things-we're-sensitive-to. Even random moments of gratitude are not so random, the realization here's a result of a lesson from past, our own or somebody else's. So, yeah, regular conditioning is important to feel gratitude regularly. We all are too absorbed by our comfort zones to condition our reflexes. So, whenever others or situations subject us to some sort of conditioning, we feel gratitude, definitely.

But most of the times when we do, we choose to not express. Because .. octopus.
