Do paid to click ads pay?

http://csstatic.com/banners/clixsense_gpt120x600a.pngi have seen so many advertisements online about getting paid to click ads...i even joined one to see...and guess what i found...each ad you click earns 0.001c...and payouts minimum of $10...so basically they makeyou work so hard and by the time you earn the minimum amount it will be too late to find out if they really do pay...thats the site i joined...
