Will have to watch YT ads when I get home from work.

I do want GG back. We need to strengthen our batting. He is a good solid batsman. He would also take the pressure of Kohli as well.

Much better than whatever Cong was trying!

TBBT used byomkesh bakshi!!!
It was so funny hearing raj pronounce byomkesh as Biyomkesh. They overdo the indian accent so much.

wasn't that last week..

but yeah even i was happy to hear that and then the parallel drawn t sherlock..

Rajit Kapoor nailed it... as far as i remember, BB is the first detective series i ever saw...or maybe the one that impacted me most...

old lanes of calcutta, rajit's demeanour.. the plots...it is just perfect..

I don't know, but there is sthg abt calcutta (and dehradun 😛 .. but that has to do with my childhood and Mr. Bond) .. all those short stories in the hustle bustle of crowded lanes of calcutta... the rosogullas and the sandesh.. the kali mandir's temple bells used in almost all stories that resonate with the quaint peaceful city noises..the start to the day.. the tantrics and the housewives.. the attires..everything about it..

it does what victorian era does to me... calms me down... mesmerises me..
the charm of an old city... vibrant with colours and what not.. so much to explore..and then people..

Gosh!.. how i wish i were born a writer or an actress or a director ...

How I view dogs: Beagle, German Shepherd, Poodle, Pitbull, Labrador. blah blah
How I view cats: Cat, cat, cat, cat...
When you reach home...Dogs: OMG YOU'RE HOME! I LOVE YOU!!!
Cats: greetings human. as you may have noticed, my food bowl is empty...fill it..I'll be on the couch😕...I hate the way cats stare like they got something on you.!!😊

now don't go romanticizing kolkata. I mean yeah its awesome, the city is part of the reason I fly back home twice a yr. I love it, I my house, I love kalighat, but the old lanes and all r more north Kolkata and like any city it has changed too.

and yeah rajit was the perfect BB, years later when I read the actual stories, specially the "adult" ones which i read, I was surprised to see how accurate it was.

I think Kolkata possess such a charm because of the writers who were from here, people like Tagore, gifted people who described the city so well.

Cannot remember the last time I enjoyed watching India bowl! Well done Mishra!! Terrible batting from WI, esp. Chris Gayle. Such reluctancy to rotate the strike and take the singles. Hate to say it but the only change I would make to the Indian team is Yuvi - poor bowling and fielding. Hope he has a good day with the bat.

Well Bowled India. That was some stellar performance. Amit Mishra finally getting his spotlight and Bhuvi Kumar was awesome as well. Still don't get the hype around Jadeja.
Cannot figure out how Yuvi is getting all these chances- great player but he hasn't been his usual self in awhile, got enough chances - time to drop him?. Dhawan fails- not surprised.

@BB is legend, I remember watching the tv series. Rajit Kapoor was simply brilliant. I still get chills - just remembering few of his episodes.

Too many wides given though - wayy too many! Bhuvi had great figures today, was expecting MSD to go with him for the final over but I guess due to inexperience of Bhuvi, he gambled with Jadeja, which unfortunately didn't pay off. Only thing we seem to be lacking atm is a death bowler.

Dhawan did actually get unlucky today CG. He was unfairly given out by the umpire. I wonder why DRS isn't implemented in T20? Yuvi's got to go. Playing in the middle order you've got to come and speed things up, not slow things down at the end. I feel for Rahane if he comes in now, he wouldn't have had the chance to play in the middle but I guess neither has the lower batting order.

@H4L- Was surprised at jadeja given the last over. He was anyways having an ordinary day, it just didn;t make sense. Agree on wides and and the no-ball- unnecessary.
I really don;t know where Yuvi's motivation lies these days. He is dropping easy catches , not able to finish an already won game . Really needs to introspect a lot. Rahane should be given a chance over Yuvi/Raina . I guess he will now, I really hope he gets a decent shot.

I just don't think Dhawan has it in him to give us a start in Australia. Also would be interesting to see how Rohit moves from here.
