To me classy means graceful, sophisticated, thinking, tolerant, cool, calm and someone who makes good choices in life.

I dont think anyone is classy. I think all have some class and un-classiness in them. Maybe some have one more than other. I dont believe in labelling people.

Being classy I guess is more to do with personality than looks or dressing style. How one expresses oneself and conducts his/her life makes one classy. It personifies dignified demeanor, elegance and refined manners. We all at some point or the other tend to demonstrate classiness. It's an ultimate compliment to receive in my opinion 😳.

Classy: going batshit crazy and thinking your mannerism is somehow more superior than that other mere mortal you speak of. How dare he even dream of being at my level someday? Class is something you are born with, you can't earn it...and other elitist propaganda like that.

If a person says classy, I immediately think (s)he is this:

With changing times, one has to grow out certain things. The word classy is reminiscent of the discrimination generations have faced based on their genetic makeup. It is about time we, as the human race, get our act together and move on.

Classy is, by and large, an elitist exclusive. It reeks of forgotten liberties much like paki or the n word or the grandpa down the street who still keep orientals in his vocabulary.
A puppy dies every time someone uses the C word as a symbol of superiority.

😆 You mean if I wear pearls and silk gloves, I won't be able to pass off as classy? Da phack?

Do puppies still die if I use classy but not in the literal sense..like say in the place of "legit"...as in Harvey looks mad classy in his suits. 😆

No, don't dream too big. You ain't got the genes for it, ya know. Unless you are white and your daddy owns atleast two dozen car fleets and is second cousin to the Queen of England, you ain't even close.

Classiness for me how a person behaves basically..If the person is sophisticated, well mannered, dignified and respectful to all then that person is classy for me..I also find it classy when people smile often :)

To me, classy is somebody who is cool, calm and sophisticated. I don't speak about clothes, but about the aura the person executes. One can have all the Versache's and Chanel's they want, but clothes don't make you classy -- your personality does. And well, not many people can do it.

Like they say -- If you have to tell people you're cool, you're probably not.

When I think of classy, I think of someone who wears posh type of attire and has a sophisticated attitude. Not either one but both. Someone may look classy but when you talk to them, they're far from it. So yeah, I'd say classy relates to both the outside and the inside of a person
