Okay, may be there is a lot wrong with those movies but I am okay with watching them because they do have a good story only wrapped up with candy floss to please the "masses" (never understood what masses meant; only that it is an invisible force claimed by popular filmmakers as their audience. sensibility can go to hell as long these "masses" are happy).🤢
Yes, the rating and controlled release of content is the issue. I don't if there is a way of effective control given the internet but atleast they can try and pretend they are doing their job.
I don't give a hoot about the singer you mentioned but I still feel bad the dude got banned.

Apologies for the ramble, I hope I make sense.

I didn't say movies such as TDP and all are a bad influence, I was talking about the flavored sexual content included in the movies. I was rather stating the new welcoming changes in the bollywood and yeah, I agree there's a good storyline, but sometimes it gets hammared with the exclusive scenes. I don't either 😆(about the singer) I just used him as an example, to state how it is considered the sexual content in the movies can top the songs, where as the same thing when produced through a song leads to banning 😊.

And yes, you made sense to me 😛.

The thing is people gets highly emotional when it comes to religion/community.

Davinci code was highly criticised bcz it hurt the sentiments of Christians . After watching the movie I can see da vinci's "The last supper" painting with the different perspective.

Most of Kamal's movie always been to controversy.Even form his early days to till date. His choice of character is like that.Even "Hey Ram" went through lots of controversy that its against ghandhism. But in that movie kamal's character is against Ghandhi's principles so it will be against Ghandhi.

I am not talking about vishwaroopam bcz there is another scoop that kamal was made a scapegoat out of politics. Its just that media sensationalized it.For me that movie is purely a fiction.

I don't like when a writer's work is butchered in the name of censor. But its not going to stop Kamal/Rushdie or anyone from making such movies or writing.

As for sex/violence is concerned it will get adults only certificate if needed.

The banning of yo yo honey singh's songs was the worse I feel, when compared to some Indian item songs which are mixed with swear words, disgusting sexual intended lines, his songs sounded decent to me 😛. But with the hot-shot releases of the year like dirty picture, heroine, I feel censor board should revise a new policy for Indian cinemas. The baby has gone out of the cradle, now its time for the walk 😛.

On the Bold-ed out part, I really DO HOPE you weren't being serious. For the record, I'm yet to hear any 'Item song' named "Choot" or "Main Hoon Balatkaari". And swear words? You sure? 😕

I have watched vishwaroop with my muslim friends and they didn't find anything that hurt the sentiments of muslims. But Kamal agreed to edit/cut some of the scenes in the movie bcz some muslim groups protested that the movie is hurting their sentiments. So finally kamal agreed to edit his movie.

For me and many people a movie is just an entertainment but its not necessary that everyone look it in the same way.

Hollywood movies always have such kinds of scenes. For them nudity is a form of art. There are tons of po*n sites on internet if a kid wants to get spoiled. I was talking about Indian movies only

Agree with u.There is a lot of difference between that. But if the script demands those kinds of scenes then I think it would be unfair to cut those scenes.Yes in India there wont be any edited version for HW movies.
