So Mr. bollywood aspirant, which word in your dictionary would fit for this actor? 😆

It's not always women, so stop putting fingers on them.
Some of you guys are just making fun of me here and nothing else. Showing the upper body naked or a butt doesn't makes someone bad. It maybe just awkward initially but its no big issue.

Infact, guys roam within towels even within their families . But girls , do they do this??? Do indian girls show boobs in everyday life?? Dats why I pointed out girls.

Now you are moving away from point. My main concern was prostitution and casting couch in bollywood and we've had enough discussion on the topic.

AT LAST IT'S JUST A PERSONAL CHOICE WHETHER YOU GO NAKED, DO COUCH OR NOT! i SHOULD NOT WORRY BT THESE AS I WILL HAVE THE CHOICE TO STAY AWAY FROM SUCH THINGS.

I GUESS NOTHING TO BE DISCUSSED MORE.

And one more thing , you are no worth to decide whether I will get a shot or not, It's god who will decide. And beleive me if i get a chance to enter bollywood I will change things as much as I could

^^Then that is the problem of your culture and society's mindset if it sets different standards of morality for the sexes. If a man exposes his body he's being stud and if a woman does the same thing she's a s**t!! Call your society and your culture S-H-I-T-T-Y instead of calling women s**tty...Their body, their choice..No one else's business..

You may be right here but that is how this is in this world. In the west it is common for women to expose body but in india the culture is different. And it is not that men force them for the purpose. In general, an indian mother will never allow her daughter to expose her body. Neither would her father. This is the culture of india.

Moreover, if you live in west ask your sister or daughter to pose full upper body nude in a public place. Will she do it?????? now ask your son or brother , i guess he can do it without any problem. This is the difference between a guy and a girl and its is in every culture.

And those who are indians here and asking me to grow up my thinking just ask yourself how will you feel if someone from your family say your sister or daughter poses nude and show her boobs publicly in future. Will you feel comfortable???? tell me honestly. If yes Im over. But if no, then where is your modern thinking now?????

You may say that those actresses are not your or mine family member so y shud I care??? But I do care because I am an indian.

Why is it okay for you when men do the same things? Why isn't a big issue for you? And for your kind info no one is making fun of you, just giving my views.

Typical men attitude.

Now you are moving away from point. My main concern was prostitution and casting couch in bollywood and we've had enough discussion on the topic.

I'm proving my point.

AT LAST IT'S JUST A PERSONAL CHOICE WHETHER YOU GO NAKED, DO COUCH OR NOT! i SHOULD NOT WORRY BT THESE AS I WILL HAVE THE CHOICE TO STAY AWAY FROM SUCH THINGS.

Right.

I GUESS NOTHING TO BE DISCUSSED MORE.

Defiantly not from my side. And don't use caps on internet, it refers to screaming.

And one more thing , you are no worth to decide whether I will get a shot or not, It's god who will decide. And beleive me if i get a chance to enter bollywood I will change things as much as I could

And you're no one to label women as s**ts when men resort to doing the same things. Why this discrimination between men and women? Now don't go around saying Indian women don't do this and that. Days are changing so its better if people change their mindsets too. And I don't have the interest nor the patience to decide others future, I'm occupied with mine, so I leave it to the Almighty.

Best wishes for your future endeavours.

P.S. Don't drag me anymore into this debate.

Didn't I say its a filthy mentality to set different moral standards for men and women? And why the f**k every issue of gender equality boils down to "What if its your sister and mother...?" My sister, daughter, mother, wife and all other female relatives are NOT my property..I am no one to dictate what they should do or what they shouldn't..If they are grown up adults, they have a mind of their own and thus they have perfect sovereignty over their lives, as much as I do over my life..Their body is their own, and its not a source of 'honour' or 'shame' of anyone else, and therefore they and they alone can decide how they'll handle it...

The problem is that men in our society grow up believing that they are the 'protectors' of womankind or at least the women of their family...A 'protector' is de jure guardian and de facto master. And this alpha-male mindset is the root cause of most of the cases of violence against women - be it honor killing, honor rape, acid throwing etc..It hurts the male ego to see women taking back control over their body and sexuality and breaking the barriers of 'modesty', 'chastity' and 'purity' made by man.

If s**t-shaming is a part of your culture, if its a part of your culture to pass judgements on woman's character and police her on such screwed up hypocritical moral standards, then your culture needs to go for good - couldn't have been plainer; because its MISOGYNISTIC to the core and that's why it SUCKS like hell.."Culture" cannot be any excuse for the continuance of misogyny and injustice...Either change your culture or be prepared to be labeled as assholes..

You know at the start of this topic, I was going to defend you against a few comments, because I thought you were being attacked for no reason. However some of your replies have really just made me go "w*f"

Anyway, firstly stop saying that the fact you will not allow women to do certain things makes you "Indian" No that is not what being Indian is about.

If tomorrow a man posed naked for a magazine, I won't like it. I will actually cringe. If a man stripped down naked in public, pretty sure the Police will take him away for indecent exposure.

To be honest, stop labelling women who kiss, or pose in bikinis as being s**ts. I find it hypocritical that you go to movies to enjoy such scenes, watch po*n, but still label these women as s**ts.
If you have such a problem, then maybe don't watch such things to begin with? You know, raise a voice against it.

Personally, I am not a fan of it, however unlike you, i won't label these people as s**ts, wh**es or whatever just because they are exposing and posing.

I find it annoying and stupid that a man doing a sex scene is nothing big, but the moment a woman does it - it's a big deal. Maybe in movies they should have men doing such scenes with each other, considering the fact that there are such double standards present.

Also these double standards exist because people like you, label these women with derogatory words.
Tomorrow when you are in a movie, would you not do what the script demands of you?

Then if the script asks a woman to do a certain scene, why is such a hype created?

Good luck for your venture in films, but to be honest, your restricted mentality against women's behaviour is not going to let your creativity reach its potential, nor will any woman respect you for dictating what she should or should not do.

I am sorry, but I completely disagree with that.

If a woman is modest, etc does not mean that she is adhering to barriers made by "man", it's her own personal choice.

Yes name-calling and categorising women according to what they wear is wrong, however a woman taking control over her sexuality does not necessarily mean that she has to wear skimpy clothing, she can wear whatever she pleases.

Your statement reminded me of an argument against Burqas and how some people think women wearing Burqas signifies the men's control over them. Nope, it's their own personal choice.

If your contention was not that, then I apologise, however that was what I got the gist of from your post, and therefore I commented :)

Firstly, I may have over stressed on women but I never said men doing sex scenes seems good. I don't like that too. po*n or semi nude shouldn't be included in movies, im totally against it because these are movies which children watch as well and they are openly available to see at public theatres.

Secondly, you don't know me. I never goto movies to see these things. I goto see content.

Thirdly, I am not only against women you do such things but also directors and producers who make them sleep with them for a role but atlast the choice lies with the girl that's y said her s**tty.
Now, if I am in a movie tomorrow then I would never pose nude or never encourage a director to make women pose naked along me even if the script requires. Instead, I will leave the movie.

Finally, my creativity will defnitely reach highest standards if god wants that way. I do not disrespect women, infact I will do something to aboilish casting couch in bollywood and encourage talented actresses to come in instead of the ones who sleep with directors for fame when I will be in command. You see, I respect respectable women not the ones who would do anything for fame and money. But ultimately no director forces a woman to sleep with her , its her choice and thats y i called her s**tty.

P.S: The director/producer is also a piece of shit here. So, dont say "you are only against women not men doing such things" That's y called bollywood in a way dirty place to work in.

I never said that dressing up from tip-to-toe is necessarily a sign of oppression or to be liberated, you necessarily need to take off your clothes..Different people have different tastes, preferences and levels of comfort and none of us have the right to judge others on the basis of our own ways...

However conditioning a woman (and men) with these sexist notions of 'chastity' and 'modesty' is definitely objectionable. For making a free choice you need to grow up in a free atmosphere that encourage individualism and critical thinking. When you grow up conditioned with these lopsided stereotypes of chastity and modesty or in a culture of sex segregation that has predetermined pigeonholes for man and woman; and that too, more than often, supposedly dictated by the creator of the universe or demarcated by some Avatar as a perfect way of living, does it really remain a free choice? When the premises are so biased, its no longer a free choice - its a conditioned choice similar to Stockholm syndrome...
