Everyone here knows that life is unpredictable and is full of uncertainties. But sometimes things happen to you which are really unfair and absolutely break your heart. My question is why do you think life is so unfair sometimes?
Do you believe in the quote "everything happens in a reason" ? Do you think every disappointment has something positive behind it?

Sometime I feel ,life is unfair... So many rules... so little time to break them... In life many things does not work according to our needs, desires, wants, ideas or beliefs ...but things can changed as per every individuals desires and wishes!!...in life is 10% of what happens to us, balance 90% how we react to it...be practical...n understand the fact that, when you take another breath, someone takes their last...when you take three times food, someone taking only water to survive their life,...so just stop complaining...reduce expectations, appreciate life and cherish the things you have... 😊

Make fair use of this unfair life. That's all that matters in the end.

I don't think life is unfair. More of a roller coaster with ups and downs.

Life is unfair alright, but there are times when we really need to give ourselves some perspective.

Like for example, my workplace is totally dysfunctional and stresses me out. But then I know that I'm getting experience that I need and I will be in a position where I can move on to better. Fully well knowing that every job will have its ups and downs no matter where I end up. But I still need to think about other aspects of my life, personal and creative, and make sure my job doesn't dominate my emotions.

I don't think everything happens for a reason and all that. I think a lot of suffering in this world is totally unjustified, and is a direct result of exploitative structures of oppression that exist because they serve some powerful people at the expense of others, the 99% as it were. But then the flip side to that is that people also actively resist forms of oppression and find ways to live with moments of beauty and hapiness. My ideology/worldview helps me put things in perspective that way.

Life isn't fair. No, Sir. But simply because unfairness is the most prominent attribute of a struggle, without which we're sure to learn, jack squat. A person with a rudimentary understanding is going to still back and whine at the unfairness of it all. Eventually they'd get the hang of the concept.

Yes, I do believe that everything happens for a reason, only mostly it's in our power to change the face of every circumstance and make some positive stuff outta it. Every major to minor disappointment leaves in its wake a butt load of plausible teachings for us to follow in order to extract some good outta shit.

On individual level life is indeed unfair. On one hand we have people living till 100 (which is a great thing) but then we see children dying. Some get cancers/disease others dont. A black person sees white/fair being sign of beauty and black as sign of darkness i.e. kaali aandhi, kaale badal, kaal jadoo etc. So yes it is unfair to many in that sense.
However I do not think life is deliberately unfair. We just happen to end up in a situation randomly and we need to make the best of what we got. In that respect it is not unfair.

I happen to think that everything happens, fair, unfair, challenging, just a hurdle, just a matter of time, etc...all depends on the way a person looks at it.
I happen to think, whatever happens I'm up for the challenge :)
Things happen for whatever reasons...what matters is how a person takes it and overcomes it.

Broadening ones perspective or horizon is one way we can get over the 'life is so unfair for us' complex. I whine and crib about unavoidable circumstances and bad luck that surrounds me, but watching people die out of hunger and famine in Africa or some natural disaster somewhere makes me appreciate what I have and want to preserve it. That is how we can know how much better we are than the underprivileged and many others.

But I do agree that many get easy passes in life, while others have to struggle a lot. One reason why I believe, or rather want to believe, in an afterlife...

No, I don't think things happen for a reason. Luck is something that encompasses factors outside one's control, but that doesn't mean there is someone controlling it. People, or rather our brain, has a tendency to find out patterns from random chaos which might not necessarily be there.

Yeah, so life is not always good. Don't know why it has to be. Is everything being good fair? Can't say. Life is what it is. You get what you get and you have to make the most of it. Yeah, you get bad times but there are people in worse conditions. So, don't ever think you are having the worst time. After all what matters is your outlook. All the money and fame can't change your outlook. Happy stays happy being poor and miserable stays miserable being rich. Do the things you love, spend time with people you love. Just enjoy what you have rather than worrying about what you don't. Because trust me, there is no end to the latter.
