Is it a foregone conclusion that when we talk about love it implicitly means love between a man and a woman in a romantic way only, which usually ends up in sex? Or did the OP consider other types of love that exist such as parents-kids, kids-parents, brother-sister, sister-brother etc. etc. There is also an element of love that exists between humans and non-humans such as pets. There also is love between humans and non-living things.. I love my car very much, for example. I hope you get the idea.
