Yes, being a leader is fantastic 😃 .. but its not just abt doing against the norms or stop following the trends. I agree that it is sometimes very fruitful to go aganist the norms (even i don't follow the norms or do wht people tell me to do), but leader has to CHOOSE the right course of action for the betterment of people/ followers, whether personally he likes them or not.

i agree with u MNMS,that most ppl would prefer being a leader,i would love being a leader too.. but then as u say it is extremely important to choose the right path,or u may be putting a whole lot of ppl into trouble including urself...

i also think that a leader has to empathise with his followers and understand thier points of view and problems..all in all being a leader means a lot of power but as we all kno tht power has to be rightly balanced with responsibility....
