Which Nation has your ideal governing system?

As outsiders looking in, we can always say the grass is greener on the other side. Around the globe there are three large systems of Government: Parlimentary, Presidential, & Semi-Presidential. And along with that, each nation may have a different twist and interpretation of the said systems.

So the question is:
Which Nation's System do you find to be the best, as in it is effective, and efficient: and why? (have some examples ready!)

It's an open deadline 😆.

I think it's a great topic to look into: We're often so focused on our own Nation's system that we fail to see other options out there- and their effectiveness (Plus I haven't even gotten into all of the Electoral Options 😉)
In My opinion the Parlimentary system allows for a more pro-active government; less checks and balances- allowing for Partisan politics and agendas to be kept at a minimum- although the effectiveness of this system also depends on the type of electoral system the Nation implements: if it is a First-Past-the -post system, a majority is more likely to occur allowing for swifter legislation; where as an STV system creates a divided result, often forcing parties to come together and make decisions jointly under a coalition government.

Well there are many intelligent and knowledgable posters here so you have come to the right place. You can easily get an essay out of one or two.
However unfortunately I won't be able to comment. I don't want to misguide you just for sake of participating. Good luck!

More than the system, it depends on the country it is being implemented in... Parliamentary System for instance seems to be going great in countries like Norway... but it didn't in Pakistan 😛 You'll need a mindset change before any system has a chance of working.. you also need a willingness and commitment (by the people) to make the system work.

That's all i know 😆(which isn't much 😛) Like KAL said, there are far more knowledgeable people here who will generate an interesting debate 😊

Nice topic btw 😊

The politics here should be seen as a separate field of research and study 😆

Politics is supposed to be the second oldest profession. I have come to realise that it bears a very close resemblance to the first...😃😉

Off course it does... both will fcuk with (almost) anyone 😆
And there have always been other (read promiscuous) connections between the two... Any wonder that Heera Mandi is right under the shadows of Lahore Fort 😆

That's a Government Policy; not a system.
The system works depending on the Voting system; or electoral proccess as well as the individuals in the system, and is not dependent on the Implemenation of Capital Punishment.
