TV actor Sanil Sodhi has been arrested by the Mumbai police for sending lewd and obscene pictures and messages on Blackberry Messenger to a married woman.😆

Mr Sodhi, who has played small parts in TV serials like Rishte and Hum was arrested on Sunday night, hours after he allegedly sent 25 nude photos of himself to the woman. She was a friend of Mr Sodhi.

The actor has been accused under section 509 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 67 of the Information Technology Act for electronically transmitting obscene content.

He has acted in Bollywood films Hu Tu Tu, which starred Tabu and Suniel Shetty and Hazaar Chaurasi Ki Ma, which included actors Jaya Bachchan and Nandita Das.
