Is Ramdev a 'dhongi' baba?

So is Ramdev a dhongi (fake) baba, as Mahatma Gandhi's great grandson Tushar suggested in a tweet on Sunday? Or does he represent a popular cause that was just waiting for a leader?

In all the drama, we have forgotten what he's asking for: that black money stashed away in foreign banks be brought back to India, that professional education be imparted in Indian languages, and that high-denomination currency notes be withdrawn so that illegal transactions are curbed.

His demands will find resonance among the less affluent and those sidelined by India's globalised economy, even if he is ridiculed elsewhere.

Latest news on Aaj Tak channel. Baba Ramdev was shown addressing a rally and invited young men and women to his camp for getting training in shastra (scriptures) and shaastra (weapons) He declared that he would train 11000 youth in these and prepare an army. After some time said that he will continue with the satyagraha adopting non violence as his method 😕 I do not have the video clippings as proof. Those who wish can watch the news channel now. The news is still showing. If someone managed to record it please upload as some people would be looking for proof .

He is a good knowledgeable yoga instructor and has improved lives and fitness through yoga. He provides charitably as well.

Beyond that his views medically, socially, fiscally, politically make me feel like he is a cave man.

I don't think he is a dhongi...but whatever he is doing right now is not his cup of tea...he is a Yoga Guru and people have faith in him in that role so that is what he should stick too...I mean imparting higher education in Hindi or whatever regional languages he may be referring too...come on...he has to be out of his mind...and anyways I never understand why people associate so much pride and ego with their languages...what is a language...its just a means of communication...and nothing else...I think love would mean the same whether it expressed in any damn language of the world...

Have to disagree with that part, indeed. Sorry😆
