The sudden spate of birthday threads on DM dedicated to members by members who have never before been seen on DM is making me wonder about the sudden interest and affinity of posting their birthday threads on a section of IF where they hardly ever visit 😕
Wouldnt it be much more fun to start the birthday thread on a section that they normally participate in instead of somewhere that they hardly contribute to.Most of the members posting their wishes on the thread are new comers or infrequent visitors too, meaning that someone PMed them to post their wishes as otherwise why would they even visit this section?
I m going crazy trying to get at the logic behind this sudden trend
Can anyone throw some light please
Or could it be some old member who suddenly got re incarnated on DM ??? I doubt that.🤔
If so then pls let us know your older ID on DM so that all of us can wish you too.
It kind of feels odd to be wishing HB to unknown members 😳

Haha I've been wondering the same thing lately. Since when has DM become a place for birthday threads of members that don't even post here! :\ Seeing as this is debate mansion, we should try and search for reasons why there are so many random birthday threads here lately?😛

Its probably because DM has been cooling off for quite a while and some members may not have seen the heat turn on ... but who can predict how long this section continues to lie dormant 😆
..all it takes is a tiny little spark to start an inferno....and DM is quite combustible 😃

we could actually have a debate on this topic if those who posted these threads come out with their reasons 😃 If they like DM so much as to post their birthday threads here they could also be a part of it by contributing some comments on this topic.

Maybe they are silent readers or do not find the topics useful or interesting. They cud start their own too.

The silence broke while posting a non related thread of an unknown member on this section.
If they dont find the topics useful or interesting why would anyone be silent reader who feel interested enough to post b day threads on a section that does not interest them?
They are of course free to post any topic for debate or even participate in it but they havent shown up yet😛
In short - I m still clueless about the sudden trend of posting b day threads by unknown members for other unknown members n DM
