Is this evolution?

So was it real or do you guys think it was fake? Lots of new creatures have been spotted in this world recently, some hoaxes, some real. Do you think that more creatures are being created? 😲

A particular animal cannot evolve overnight into another completely different one. And there isn't any evidence of creation either. New species are being discovered, not necessarily emerging.

but where coul it have emerged from?

OBJ I am not sure if that is a genuine discovery. Japanese television is known to play many practical jokes and stunts. It could be one of them. Perhaps if there was a proper newspaper article or news presentation on the discovery.

That being said scientists state that a large percentage of world's ecosystems and terrains are undiscovered. This is particularly true of the oceans. Every year there are several new species of plants and animals discovered. The scientific community verifies any new discover and all new discoveries are published in a paper, I forget what it is called.

For new species being discovered
- It could be an actually undiscovered species
- It could be a special case of evolution in microsystems. For examples when Galapagos Islands were discovered, we found several new species. Marsupials are unique to the Australian islands
- It could be unique evolution in a different environment. Amidst tigers the Bengal, Sumatran, Siberian, Malayan tigers are all uniquely different
- It could be a disease based mutation and not a new discovery. For example the Jackalope is a rabbit suffering from a viral disease
- It could be a new breeding between two different species. like Ligers and Tiglons. Some occur naturally in the wild, but sometimes its just humans trying to mess with nature and see what can be created

The first thing you do when you find a supposedly new/undiscovered species of animal life is throw cola at them?

It's the latter two for me, it could either be a mutation of a sea anemone or something, or it could be a result of bredding between a jellyfish and sea anemone 😕
