I say the chicken! The chiken probaly evolved from another animal, and thenened up creating eggs, and where does an egg come from anyways? God created the chicken, and the cheken created the egg! 😃

Never really understood the fuss behind this question. Take special creation into account, you have a super-intelligent entity producing a chicken out of thin air. Take biological evolution into account, you have both the egg and the chicken gradually evolving from a different species that wasn't a chicken, but became more and more like one in the course of time.

That said, the question actually goes far beyond the chicken and the egg. This is more of a philosophical view on the origin of life and the universe in general. Possibly someone bumped into this question while having an uneventful breakfast.
