i dunno how we al wil react when we see sita falling in love with ravana..
but for now i am just amazed by the beautiful locations and the fabulous songs....
on zoom they said it was kerala...well yes kerela is god's own country :D
a r rehman and gulzaar sahib are an awesome duo...
cherry on the cake is rekha bhardwaj....she has the most beautiful classical and deep voice...

WHAT SAYS FRIENDS HEADING FOR A GREAT MOVIE??
even though i am not a big fan of abhishek but looks like he has learned over the years....

Mani ratnam knows how to get perfection....
cinematography looks good too....

rest the movie will tell...

so excited for it....

here is the song which according to me is music at its best ⭐️

I like Mani, but I feel he should have taken some other actress. Knowing him, I'm sure he will be able to bring the best out of Ash. From what I've seen, he seems to have brought out a few expressions from Ash's otherwise immovable face. Hats off to him for his contribution. 👏😉

Mani Ratnam always makes some interesting movies that do not tread the beaten path. I am sure Raavan will have something different to offer.

As for the storyline, it is just a fictional interpretation.

I feel the songs from this album is not very catchy they take time to grow on you. This is typical A.R.Rahman number which are like slow poison and slowly makes a listener to get attracted towards the songs😊

Finest Mani Ratnam film is 'Nayagan' (1987), considered as one of the best Indian films ever. Time magazine included it among the All time hundred best films list in 2005. It was nominated for the best foreign film oscar. It is a Tamil adaptation of Mario Puzo's famous novel 'The Godfather'.

Kamal Haasan plays the don. He won national award for the performance. He was just 32 years old when he played the 70 something year old don. Amazing performance. The movie was remade in Hindi as Dayavan with Vinod Khanna in the lead but flopped (Vinod Khanna sucked😛)

The movie which Mani Ratnam himself consider's his best is 'Iruvar'(1997). Mohanlal & Gouthami plays the lead. It won the best film award in Belgrade Internatational film festival. Mohanlal won filmfare award for best actor. Aiswarya Rai appears in a supporting role.

Ratnam's dubbed movies like 'Bombay', which became hits in Hindi speaking regions are mediocre compared to these movies.
