But if conscious then..? Coma or a forced stillness is not silence. Underneath it, deep in the unconscious, the repressed mind goes on working...
OK I dont know how a person wud actually feel just before his death, whether there wud be silence & peace or a struggle .I guess it wud vary person to person. But there wud be chaos all around amongst the relatives and friends. Death is always mourned except in one tribe where its actually celebrated as liberation !
I think everybody born as a silence ,just intervals and intervals, gaps and gaps. Infinite emptiness we came with, unbounded emptiness we brought with us in life ,then we started collecting words..and thoughts.....I believe mind is nothing bt all the words or thoughts that we have accumulated.... silence is that which has always been with us, it is not an accumulation.....the problem is 99.9 % of people cant live without these accumulation..balance .1% of people can reach/feel/understand the real silence,we call them different names...😊

The mind is a mystery , summer 😊.The vision wud be his alone and can be considered as hallucination by others. Theres no way he wud be able to convince others about the vision. I think its enough if he can convince himself ! If he believes then thats what matters . The most difficult times are those when one is hovering b/w belief n non -belief.
Kriya yoga is supposed to be a very strong n effective way of attaining realisation. There was repeated ref to it in autobiography of a yogi by Sri Paramahansa Yogananda but he has no where mentioned the technique ...
I think it involves long hrs of meditation. That means- no thoughts !!
The visionary may have not attained full realisation then, but he was on the path. Full realisation wud follow in its own time.

A powerful concentration of the mind can create whatever it wants to see. Beleive in God , God appears and believe in Ghosts, Ghosts appear. I come to realise that even we ourselves are not unique; the Divine Force can always create another person exactly like us. In Kriya yoga the tongue is rolled backwards towards the roof of the mouth. It is claimed that it forms a bridge to link the psychic forces running along the spine to the chakras located in the head; some claim it stimulates the pitutary gland.

Unless this person is well oriented to his surroundings he is quite likely to get diagnosed as a schizophrenic ...
There was an interesting case recently being studied by Defence research & Devp Organisation (DRDO) An old man claimed to have been living without food and water for over 70 years !!
The doctors kept him under continuous surveillance under CCTV for 2 weeks. During this time he did not partake any food nor a drop of water. His BP, HR, blood sugar, remained normal during this period. The amt of urine & stools passed had reduced. He looked normal even after a fortnight of no food or water ! He said he had been blessed by Goddess Jagdamba with this ability while he was a kid . Doctors have said that it will take them about 6 months to come out with the results of all the investigations that were conducted. Lets wait n watch .

yes Angie I read about it too. he mentioned he gets special amrit from the roof of his mouth. There are some who can convert air to prana.
Certain special yoga science can also convert one matter to another eg rocks or even meat to vegtables. Some consider such activities as a distraction from the main goal.

The defence dept hopes to learn how to go without food n water as they feel it might come in useful for the personnel but if this babaji has achieved this ability due to spiritual practices I wonder how the army is going to make use of it. Cant see the army spiritual and killing enemies at the same time...unless the mahabharata is going to be repeated with Krishna's sermons..

Well being spiritual means doing what is right without any attachment to the outcome and results.
Generally Army can learn only breathing techniques and yoga to lead a more balanced life.
In olden times the Armies used mantra to launch lethal missiles and weapons. But such skill has all been lost.

Some deaths are very loud with lots of screaming and yelling. I don't see how it should be otherwise. I guess the soul can be silent, but when I am in pain - I find that even my soul is swearing.

My theory - Speech is silver, silence is golden but noise is platinum. 😛

You die a small death, a tiny death..that time u feel noisy..!!? I think death is a great sleep, a great rest after the whole life..😊
