What does Easter mean for you?😊

The Easter weekend has been marred by rainy weather and a ferry strike in the Channel. How are you spending your weekend?

For many, Easter is the most important festival in the Christian calendar.

One Easter tradition is chocolate eggs which, according to researchers, can be good for you, as long as you eat only small amounts.

Do you celebrate Easter? Did you get away or are you staying in the UK? Have you been affected by the SeaFrance ferry strikes?😛

It is a time to give some time to Master Jesus Christ who is no stranger to the East, for he visited India, Nepal and Tibet during his missing years.
These Masters and Avatars are always around and available to those that take the trouble to think of them.

Ya somewhere I readed this things...in that books says that they have a little record of his childhood, and they have a record after his thirtieth year up to the thirty-third....,He was first visited to Egypt and then he came to India....I think he learned many things from india....people think the son of God comes absolutely ready.... Nobody comes absolutely ready.I believe If somebody is absolutely ready he cannot come....😊

Easter doesnt mean anything to me...when i was little though, my friend used to invite me over and we'd search for eggs in her backyard (which her mom hid there).

It was pretty fun :)
But no religious meanings for me...

Eostre or Ostara is an important pagan festival. It marks the true arrival of spring. So as tradition called, I prayed to the Goddess of Dawn and thanked her for the resurrection of life after a long winter as can be seen in the greening of grass and budding flowers all around. Spring is the time to sow crop and for nature to breed. So I also painted some eggs the most poignant ancient symbol of fertility and virility and offered them as gift to to Demeter.

You mean you really took the trouble to paint some eggs ?😆
These days they give kids egg shaped chocolates in bright colored wrappers.
I love all festivities so long as it is not too rowdy.
