Kautilya aka Chanakya aka Vishnugupta, who played a vital role in helping Chandragupta Maurya dethrone Nanda empire, and establishing the Mauryan empire. He became the prime minister and advisor to Chandragupta.

Arthashastra is political treatise that he wrote.
