May be there will be a slot change.. Story plot is definitely getting interesting!! TRPs have been consistent ...

Mughal e Azam was a 3 hours movie. How much can the makers stretch that. I had a hunch that this series would end mid or end of January. There is not much story left anyway.

It is in an interesting point though. Still they cannot show anything for more than a couple of episodes. And what ever story is left should be over in 20 - 25 episodes

Colors' latest offering, the greatest love story from Mughal history Dastaan -E-Mohabbat: Salim Anarkali' will be given a new time slot!

The show which is produced by Aniruddh Pathak's Writers' Galaxy stars Shaheer Sheikh and Sonarika Bhadoria in lead role.

Of late, ratings of the show has taken a bit of beating, however, creative are confident that the storyline still has some steam before the entertainment quotient runs dry.

Now, with the channel's new show Kesari Nandan all set to beam at the 8.30 pm slot, Salim Anarkali, which currently airs at the given our, will shift to a late night airing time of 11.30pm from 1st January 2019.

We texted Aniruddh to seek a comment but he did not revert till the time of filing the article.

This show was always struggling on trps chart from beginning , and now when it shifted to odd timeslot like 11.30 its almost close to end .

Hardly anyone watching it at 8:30pm so no chance of many watching at so late on weekdays
