I dont have proof but as far as i remember, Jai said he did choreograph it on his FB. And Terence has also told people that Jai has choreographed a lot of his performance

Yes, i do not have proof that Jai asked Geeta's permission. I was speculating. But that is something i would do if i was going to use a tidbit of a dance. And besides, the copied part was really obvious so that is why i was wondering if he did ask.

Can you provide the video of Kishore's performance and Atul? I cant find it...and i would love to take a look at them and see if i can find many similarities.

Then the Jiba step was used because it IS the main attraction of the dance---hence it is a step of the particular style. Most dance styles have a step which is a part of the style itself.

Inspired and Copying are two different things. I did hear the story of malkhamb act being copied by sajan from mayuresh's original act...


geeta did copy an act by remo..song wise...steps wise...geeta ma still defended it as different in executions


if u can digest that explanation by geeta ma on how certain dances may not be a copy but more or less an inspiration..it is alright

Already choreographed on Chak Dhoom Dhoom the "thakur-gabbar's performance" it was already done on CDD and later jai choreographed it and was identical in many ways..and the list goes on..

Trampoline: Redo-ing a prop does not qualify a copy

Daud: Geeta Ma did not invent that step. the chase sequence has been done in many song and dance routines. it is a reinterpretation. the bgm is frequently used for slo-mo chase sequences

jiba: as a remo fan and if i remember it right, remo wanted to introduced jiba as a style of dance. I dont think it would make it. even otherwise, he probably used a signature step which didnt work in his favor.

afrojazz is a STYLE done many many times and probably will be done later in the future too..not a copyrighted terrence art form

Brother Act: Other than the fact they were brothers, PLEASE tell me what is the similarity. I couldnt find any.

thakkur - gabbar...meh..i didnt enjoy it..so skipping it..neither do i watch chak doom doom... from the thread, i understand u dont follow CDD as well... how can u actually accuse jai when u havent even seen CDD...i wonder

u stole my words bandicoot. afro jazz is a style so i don't get how doing a style would be copying. so basically according to dramabazz, remo geeta and terrence are copy cats copying hip hop, classical dance and contemporary because they didn't come up with the form and dancing in the same song like "give me some sunshine" would be copying. also they are copying since half of the dances are with a guy and a girl in love and since doing a choreography on two brothers is wrong, geeta terrence and remo are copying when they show two dancers in love. so now they have to come up with new dance forms, can't choreograph love stories and at the same time compose songs too. but it isn't copying when somone replaces tissue with polythene. that is the epitome of double-standard. 😆
