Thoughts on the Final Result - Page 2

This is what I wrote to my group that I made on facebook...

Hey everyone! Well DID now comes to an end sadly. But this group will always remain open for you all to discuss anything related to the show! It was one long and fun journey for all the contestants and viewers. I would like to thank you all for being a part of this group and contributing to its success! I want to say this season had some of the best contestants ever! Each and every contestant has worked their ass off and really shown to the world that they are India's top dancers. For me all of them are winners. They all deserve a grand salute.

A big congratulations to Shakti Mohan. She truly deserved it. Finally a right decision was made by the janta & zee!

Congratulations to Punit, Dharmesh, & Binny for making it this far! They are winners too! ?

To the other dancers who didn't make it to the finale: Bhawna, Meenu, Naresh, Nikkitasha, Sajaan, Shashank, Ameeth, Jack, Kruti, Amar, Parvez, Vandana, Altaf, Amrita, Kishore, Shruti, & Teena....Coming this far on the DID stage and working with such great masters is a big big big accomplishment. Many dancers dream to be on the stage and for all of you to have had that exact opportunity is truly a gift! Don't be upset, sad, frustrated that you didn't get as far as you wanted to. This was a competition and only one was to be named the winner. You all are winners regardless. You all have created millions of fans worldwide. You have made a name in the dancing world. What more can one ask for? Many die to be in the position you all are in. Many of you even have 5,000 friends/fans on fb (the fb max limit)! That says a lot! So hats off to each and every single one of you! :)

Finally a big grand salute to the masters, hosts, & grand master (although he was disappointing this season)! Remo sir, Terence Sir, Geeta Ma'am...truly India's greatest choreographers! And Jay & Soumya the best hilarious anchors ever! ? Will miss each and every moment of DID!

Congrats to Shakti once again. Please continue to post in this group as much as you like to discuss everything and anything related to season 2. It has been a pleasure being an admin! :) I will try to get more pictures up asap. Meanwhile if any of you have any pictures you would like to share feel free to post!

There was NO ONE who could dance like Dharmesh Sir. He was on a level beyond anyone else's. Did you ever watch his hip-hop performances? Mindblowing. Shakti? Well, she was good at contemporary, but I've seen others in DID do contemporary at the level of Shakti. No one could do Hip-Hop like Dharmesh though. He wast he best hands down.

And how was dharmesh more deserving than Shakti, just cos he was more popular or his style of dancing was more popular he became better? Last season how Prince being good in one genre was not chosen in the top 4, Dharmesh was lucky to be in that slot...

The Janta & Zee were dead wrong here. I think this show should not even go to a DID 3 after such unfair and inaccurate final result.

In what sense do you think this was an unfair decision. You can be the biggest Dharmesh fan ever, but you can't deny that Shakti was one of the best dancers out there on the show!

Wow. Prince was good at Locking & Popping. Dharmesh sir is good at Hip-Hop in general. Do you realize how much more broad Hip-Hop is? There are so many styles related to and within Hip-Hop that Dharmesh sir excels in. And he was better than anyone ever on DID when it comes to that broad style. Besides, he did decent in other performances as well.

I could say the same for Shakti, she was only good at contemporary. But Dharmesh's Hip-Hop >>> Shakti's contemporary.

No doubt. I'd say she was a Top 3 or 4 dancer on the show.

Last season I think they made the right decision in terms of picking the best Dancing Star. But this year, the result was catastrophic. So bad that I don't think there even will be a DID 3. Zee TV and DID should be embarrassed. They just lost all credibility. That's how bad it was.

Ok if there is so much to hip hop why didn't he show it ALL? And if there are so many different styles in hip hop like you say, where was all that during the performances? You can't just say he excels in them without him proving that! We've all pretty much seen the same coming out from him. Just like you think Dharmesh's hip hop is greater than Shakti's contemporary, can't Shakti supporters say that Shakti's contemporary was greater than Dharmesh's hip hop? We have a right to our opinions don't we? Or do we not in your opinion?
